We have always recycled, even before now. We try not to waste food bc my mom was raised during the Great Depression and I know how hard ppl had it before there was such a thing as Social Security, food stamps, welfare, etc. My ancestors had it hard!

I've been doing some of the above, like turning off the water while brushing teeth and scrubbing hands. Even though water can be cleaned and recycled, it still keeps more water in the ground by using only what you need. Also, knowing how to fix simple things is an invaluable life skill.

We have been recycling plastics, glass, all that can be recycled for about 6 years now. I have noticed of lately there have been a few more people recycling as well due to the virus we all have to deal with right now. Turning off and unplugging items that were not using, and not letting our water just run is something we have been doing lately not only to save on the bills but it helps out naturally as well.
