Even though I don't get many legitimate calls on my cell, I do feel lost when I don't have it. Wish I didn't feel so lost when I don't have it.
I use my cellphone daily, I play games on it, I put in applications. Reply to applications , call agencies about jobs. Update my resume and send emails. Watch TV on it. I don't leave the house without it.
I don't have a cell phone.
Only because my work and kids depend on me having a cell phone. I have a lot of my work, calendar and stuff on my phone and I am a supervisor so I have to available for my 20 staff to reach me
I only look a few times a day once in morning, again around lunch than around dinner and shut it off about 7:30 I am not glued to it and half the time I go out without it
I do almost always have my cell phone with me, but I have learned how to disconnect from it. I've turned off notifications and my kids know to actually CALL me if they need something so that I will pay attention. Otherwise, it's there for my convenience, not a distraction.
No, I do not have nomophobia.
I use my cell phone for everything. Looking up information, checking my emails and messages. All of my contacts and notes are in it so I am totally lost without it. Battery runs down so I always have my charger or portable power device with me.
I like to have it with me in the event of an emergency but that's it.
We don?t have a landline but all I get on my cell phone is scam and unwanted calls. Some days as much as ten and I?m on the do not call registry. I do spend too much time checking emails.
