I am an avid crafter and my favorite time of year is the winter holiday season. Being inside all warm and safe. And nothing outside that must be done. I work hard all summer and fall to make my yard a bird haven for winter and I have out done myself this year.

I love to be out in the rare snows we get for a brief time then I want to come in and wrap up in an afghan on the couch and watch Christmas shows.

I have lived in snow areas all my life, so I am quite use to it. There are things I do love about it, like a walk in the woods on a snowy day. I also love the warmth of the fireplace, but it is also wonderful to leave it for awhile and enjoy the warmth of some of the southern states. It refreshes the soul and brings the beauty of trees and plants back to life.

I love the snow because in so. cal its snow is special. i love the short drive to the mountains and me and the fanily get out and play in the most beautiful spots!

I love the fall/winter! I am one of those rare creatures that prefers this time of year to summer. I really get into the spirit of the holidays!
