With Amazon’s announcement this week that sales of digital books were greater than sales of hardbacks, it’s clear that e-readers are here to stay. What do you think about this shift in the reading experience? Are you or do you see yourself becoming a convert?
I love them and I have an e-book reader (12.2%)
I prefer the physical experience of a book or magazine (34.9%)
I'm not planning to get an e-reader but I think it is a neat device and can be very convenient (52.9%)
Heard these were very hard on your eyes...just like staring at a computer.
My brother has one & spoke of it's convenience while he was serving in Iraq. He said he could get books he loved, with the ease of transport. He said "well worth the money"

i have seen them on tv yet to exactly hold one in my hand and get the logists of it i think in your someone who travels alot its great and for people in school less to carry
While I do prefer the feel and smell of a book or magazine, I would not be surprised if I get an e-reader in the near future. I love gadgets. I might just wait till they come down a little more in price.
I would love to try one, I just can not afford one right now.
I am still a hands on reading person. I do love the feel of a book in my hands.
I have a Sony reader and absolutely love it. It's easy to throw in your purse when you're on the go. I also love the little light for nighttime reading. The small light does not bother my husband at all, and it provides just enough light for me to read in bed.
I like getting the book or magazine; so when I am through with it I can pass it on to someone in my family or friends.
I haven't purchased an electronic book, but I may ask for one for Christmas.
