There are many reasons we select gifts for friends and family at the holidays. Buying gifts that are products we’ve tried ourselves helps build confidence that we know what we’re getting - and giving to others - so it’s easier to buy presents that we’re familiar with. And, while finding the perfect gift for someone is key, getting a great price with coupons or promotions is a nice way to sweeten the deal!

Is it something they would like.... Will it be usefull..
I usually spend time researching exactly what each person really wants for a gift, so when I purchase a product I know what that product is all about and I don't hesitate to look up reviews on the internet.
I look for sales and coupons.
Cost is important but thinking that the person will actually want/use is more important to me
It is hard to find gifts for people now a day. They are all very picky about their gifts.
During the holiday I love being able to easily find the items I'd like to purchase.
What most influences my gift purchases, for holidays both public and private (birthdays, anniversaries, etc) is the gift's suitability for the recipient. I also give gifts to pets of friends and family, so suitability beats out sale-prices every time!
I said convenience because what I would have chosen isn't on the list. I look for unique and different gifts, which I usually can only find on line or at specialty shops. If the item is on sale - that's great, but if it is something I know the recipient will just love, than it really doesn't matter.
I usually buy things that I myself have used or know it works.
Great quality items that is highly sought after are always a safe bet!!
