Unfortunately, I am speding more money now a days it seems like. Even though we dont have it, we are paying hospital bills every other day it seems like. My daughter was born 4 months ago and was transported to another hospital due to her heart condition, where she stayed in the NICU. I dont know when these bills are ever going to stop coming...:)

I just got back from a business trip and usually don't mind the tips and other anxillaries I spend when out of town. Now I take note of these items and file for reimbursement from the company. I have been looking at my expense reports and noticed that there was more money involved than I had previously thought. All funds are now counted and limited spending is at the top of my priorities.

I got laid off 2 months ago, but I had cut back over 6 months ago.. just buying what we need and i use coupons faithfully more now..... i'm actually saving more $ now than when i was working... I think AMERICA as a whole needs to re evaluate their spening in general...

With the gas prices going back up again and so quickly, I try and save and cut back as much as possible. I really think to myself "do I really need this?" I try and make larger meals for dinner so that I can recreate dinners with the leftovers and save time as well as money. I have turned to buying generic brands which in some cases have been just as good as brand names. Every bit helps and every coupon cut and used really adds up.
