Mother's Day is almost here. Did you know that Mother's Day was conceived after the Civil War and initially intended as a call to unite women against war? Mother's Day in the US has transformed into a day to give thanks to our mothers. Which of the following gifts would you want to receive most this Mother's Day and why? We want to know!
A day spent with your family/children (45.1%)
A day at the spa (41.1%)
Flowers (3.1%)
Chocolate (3.3%)
Jewelry (7.6%)
As a mother of an almost 2 year old, I would love to have a day where I could have some alone time being pampered and then come home and have a nice evening with my boy and hubby.
I spend everyday with my daughter. I love her so much, but some time being pamper would be really great...as long as she is there when I get home.
As a single Mom that is always busy between my graduating high school senior and my 3rd grade fashion expert; church activities and a recent surgery, I find that I am losing myself in their activities and not pampering myself as much. I would love to just be pampered and spend a day for ME that would energize me to keep going for them. TeelaDoc
Im not a mom yet but I need a Spa day to relieve the stress of School..
now that my daughter is in college and my son is married i cherish the time i get to spend with them...not to long ago my choice would have been a day at the spa!
I would love to get an undisturbed full nights rest, and just have a nice normal day with my children and Husband. Not cooking would be an extra plus, but I don't go out to restraunts on Mother's Day...crowds.
I have 6 children and have been married to the most wonderful man in the world for 16 yrs.. I love to spend alot of quality time with my family, and to me there is no other way of spending Mothers day than with my family.
I would love to have all my children and grandchildren home and together for Mother's day. I have one son in Iraq and I would just love for him to be home!
I am a mother to a 1yo, 3yo and one on the way due in 5 weeks. A day at the spa to rejuvenate myself sounds like heaven. A mother must take care of herself to be fully capable of taking care of her family. Its so important for a mom to get "me" time. Problem is mommy guilt kicks in and it never happens.
I don't like going to the spa (don't like people touching me), don't need any more chocolate, flowers annoy me because they die (unless they are potted not cut), and I don't wear jewelry very often so that only left me with spending time with my family. Not saying that I don't love that just that I'm a stay at home mom so that is my everyday. If I had to choose something, I would have picked having my husband wake up early (yeah right) that Sunday and have my oldest (5) make me a nice breakfast in bed. He loves to help cook but it's usually with me.
