New Year is usually a great time to reassess the past year and to create some goals and plans for the coming year’s events. Everyone seems to have a different approach to the practice of New Year’s resolutions.
What do you and other SheSpeaks members want to achieve or change in 2008? If you’ve had some real success with a past years’ resolutions we’d love to hear your inspiring stories.

I ALWAYS SAY AM GOING TO LOSE WEIGHT EVERY YEAR AND I DONT LOSE NONE
I will probably do like I did this past New Years... I plan on working out at least 3 times a week. I will have an aerobics class 2 days a week... so that should motivate me some! I really want to tone up and get back into shape!
Well, I quit smoking now for 1 year & 7 months. And I have finally started dropping those unwanted pounds. But the that left over JELL-O skin from having our wonderful children; guess it's time to start the work out plan...lol I hate to exercise!! Let's see how long this one lasts....lol
every year i say i am just going to live life and stop worrying so but it seems the harder i try more i worry about stuiped stuff
I started making the New Year's resolution not to make any more new year's resolutions!
Once again, I am going to resolve to work out more. Every year I start out well, and then something interferes with my routine ( usually sickness) and I have a hard time getting back into it again.
I will try that "lose weight....get in shape" resolution again that I have been trying to keep for over a year now LoL
Wish to join a gym and do it religiously. Wish some like wise can join me.......
Last year I wanted to lose a few pounds and it resulted to now needing to lose several pounds. So, this year I started losing the weight in November. I figure making a resolution last year back fired on me, so maybe this will work :). It's hard with all the good stuff around but I am not over eating because of an idea that I would start a diet in the new year. This way it keeps me in check and with a head start.
I always want to lose weight but this year I plan on spending more time with my 17 year old son I tend to spend more time with the smaller boys. My oldest tends to do his own thing, so this might be harder than I expect. Although I am up to the challange.
