A FULL CUP is the BEST!!! Coupons are the way to go. A full cup is my ultimate favorite site!!
cheapstingybargains.com and gottadeal.com are awesome for upcoming specials.
I watch money saving blogs and black friday sites for deals on major purchases!
i just look in the ads
haggling works. We got a lot of money off appliances or free delivery or things if we see a dent, or tell them about my husbands limited disability income, or make an offer and ask for the manager. It really does work--I'm chicken, but hubby gets a rush from making the deal!
What stores allow you to haggle for big ticket items?
My Sunday papers are my best way of finding the coupons. Also my friends and I live in different surrounding areas, but shop at the same stores, so if one of them discover something on sale that they feel is necessary to share they will call or send an email. I also go the clearance area first before I start shopping.
Neworking with other moms, they will tell you all the places to shop for bargains
I look for coupons and store specials. Check slick deals and look for codes and planning ahead. I am also comparing the receipts from various stores. Example the difference in a large instant coffee is $3. cheaper at costco than at sam's club. Costco was cheaper than any of the other stores by far for the coffee. Not true on everything.
I have quite a different method. When I know there are big ticket items that my family would like for Christmas, I start looking through out the entire year. Example: My son wants a fly pen computer which normally retails around $80. I found the fly pen early this year for $40.00 with a $10.00 in store coupon and all the accessories were also on sale.
