I have always been tight. I have cut back on eating out and movies. I have to drive to and from work approx 65 miles a day. The price of gas has really hut me.

I don't usually blow my money. I work very hard for it and like to buy myself a treat every now and then.

We are resident allian and i am not allowed to work. My husband dont get enough salary for a comfortable life and i have to cut on even my kids milk. Life is never good for me here and the increasing cost of everything making it tougher.

My hubby is a owner/operator truck driver. Fuel costs are killing us. He drove 4300 miles last week. Grossed $3700.00 and brought home $550.00. At this rate we will not be able to afford for him to work. Those $800.00 fill-ups are the pits.

I have become the coupon queen of 2008 and with two growing kids eating me out of house and home, cutting back is a must. Don't forget the price of gas.

After being without a job for the first six months of 2006 for our family of four, being frugal, thrifty, and even downright cheap is very important to me.

I was criticized when I was able to purchase 40 rolls of our favorite name brand of toliet paper for $5 and some tax back in October of 2007, but we're still using it in March of 2008.

Our family's downfall is the children wanting toys and us finding it difficult to say no. It's getting easier though.

We too have downgraded our satellite service, cell phone and land line. A peek into the future is not holding alot of promise at this time.

I take a yearly vacation overseas in the spring. I am concerned with exchange rates. The US dollar is continually falling against the Euro and the GBP. I worry that I should skip my vacation this year, and put my money into an IRA or other interest bearing savings.
