My love of reading was instilled in me by my Mother. She always read to us kids when we were very young.I have read books since grade school, and have passed the love of reading to my Daughter, and Grandkids.I have a very huge collection of books, and add more to it all the time.I love reading the Bible, and other Christian related books.I like Gardening,Nature and Wildlife,Mystery,Classics,History, and so much more.I have lots of Cookbooks, and Craft books.
I too love reading, I try to read the bible every day before my day starts. I call this my prayer and meditation time. Then I read a lot of Christian books. One of my favorite authors being Francine Rivers. She is one of the best fiction Christian authors I've read. I would recommend anything by her.
With three kids, my time is limited. I read a lot of magazines and the bible.

The time I read is right before I turn out the lights. I find that I can unwind from the day by having this alone time to myself and doing something for myself.
I make time to read every day! It is part of my therapy for Anxiety. I always loved to read even when I was young. So when my counsler gave reading as an option I was very happy. Now I read so fast, I have a hard time keeping up with my favorite Authors. Wish there was a easy way of swapping books with others with my same intrests. Tracy,PA
I love to read and try to make some time every day. I like to read mysteries and fiction. As we are homeschooling our son, I find that I am reading some of the classic works of literature with him and have a whole new appreciation for these books.
I used to be an avid reader. Now 13 years and 3 kids later my definition of reading is picking up the latest gossip magazine and scanning it for a few minutes. I long for the days where I could curl up for a few hours and lose myself in a good book.
Most of my reading is my Bible or related. Joyce Meyer,Max Lucado. I do enjoy home magazines. My 13 year old daughter loves to read also, she gets it from me!
Addicted to magazines for certain, but also try to raise the intellectual level by reading classics (not as often as i should), best sellers (more often than I'd like to admit), and obscure books by niche authors (some of my most enjoyable reads). I just wish I used my library card more often... stacks of books can be found in every room of my home!
