What is going on with this society of ours!! There are more important things that the media should be focusing on and broadcasting as much as they are with Tiger Woods!!! Violence and natural disasters are happening everywhere claiming so many lives and all we care is whether Tiger Woods should be welcomed and forgiven?! People please!!
He doesn't need to be a public icon anymore. Cheating is not a good thing for anyone but especially a family man.
His job is golf so I'm glad he's going back to work just like everyone else returns to work after troubling times . It's unfortunate for his family that this is public information. I think an affair is difficult enough to deal with in private so I would hate to have it nightly news every day. Personal lives are usually kept separate from work lives and professional athletes or other celebrities still have to work.
I think the guy made a huge mistake and it not only cost him personally but financially and the financial side of it seems to be the one he is most concerned about correcting. Notice that his wife and kids are no where around and yet he is on tv. Until he shows more concern for his family and less for his fame, he is just not anything to me anymore.
THere are so many more important issues in our world today, drugs, crime, child abuse. Tiger made his bed and now he has to suffer the consequences. I'm sorry for his wife and children. The public should get a life and not be so concerned with his business. The whole situation is BORING! People should concentrate on what is really important in life, like taking care of their children, their marriages and not being so concerned about things that pretty much have no baring on their lives!
I'm tired of this story. It's sad and it's a shame, but I feel like he's now getting more hype than ever. With all of the other recent affairs leaking through to the press from celebrity life, it's just discouraging to see another icon fall by the wayside, but I don't really care to see how he's recovering.
He's a famous golfer and that's about it in my household. He's not married to me, he didn't father my children, and he's not a friend or relative. So, what he does behind closed doors is nothing I should be privy to.
It may have nothing to do with his profession in the golf world, but he has allowed himself to be held up as a good role model and loyal family man, all the while knowing he was actually being dishonest, a liar and cheater. I don't think he's sorry, I think he's just sorry he got caught, like Sandra's sleaze of a husband. The "They are just men, it's what they do" attitude is so lame. A real man values the longterm relationship with his wife over temporary temptation, and acts accordingly, he chooses to be faithful. These men had many affairs, not a isolated slipup, and were at it right up until they got caught, and would still be if they hadn't been. They chose to repeatedly be dishonest, and should be held accountable and not let off the hook because they are famous.
He is a golfer, so let him golf. His personal matters are just that PERSONAL and should be kept that way. They would not have been so prominent if it weren't for the media....he certainly didn't go and place a front page ad of his affair for the world to see. Time to move on and let this die off on its own.
It is definitely time to "MOVE ON" . His personal life has absolutely nothing to do with his athletic ability. Temptation has been a part of society since the beginning of time. I am so tired of everyone stating that he owes the public an apology. He owes us nothing but sharing his true talent on the golf course. His apology is owed to his wife and kids. The game of golf needs Tiger Woods more than he needs the game of golf. There was only 9 millionaires on the profressional golf circuit prior to Tiger Woods. He has created more than 100 millionaires from the mere fact that he generates more ticket sales and smaller endorsements have a slim chance of signing him to a contract, so they choose someone else. Allow this man to display his true talent on the golf course. It is none of our business. My other issue is the fact that these lower than life females are acting as if they were hurt, when they knew that he was married.
