Have you watched a full episode of a TV show online on any of the following in the past week? (Check all that apply)

In the old days, we had to wait around for our favorite show to come on TV.  Then we laboriously programmed our VCRs to make sure we didn’t miss our favorite programs.  We also ran out to the local video stores to pick up movies and shows we wanted to see.  More recently, DVRs/TiVos give us more control over watching what we want when we want, and NetFlix sends videos to our homes without having to run out to the video store.

And now, with Hulu, network websites and YouTube, it seems we have endless choices and can watch almost anything we want when we want it.  What sources do you go to online to watch TV programs?  What do you like about them, and what would you like to see improved?

Yes, on Hulu or a similar online video service (25.3%)

Yes, on a network website (i.e., NBC, ABC) (33.3%)

Yes, on a cable website (i.e., Comedy Central, TLC) (11.5%)

Yes, on YouTube (10.2%)

No, I have not watched a full TV episode online in the past week (47.5%)

Any time I miss one of my favorite shows like desperate housewives I run to my computer and watch it on line!

I love Fancast! We recently got rid of our cable connection, sadly, due to the economy. I have found, however, that I have missed no shows! I watch all the latest, greatest shows on line, plus I can watch them when I have the time, early a.m. or late p.m. I don't miss out on any family time, or worry about my children watching something that is not meant for their age group. I love it an am a huge fan!

I no longer pay for cable or satellite television services. I only stream from the internet onto my TV. I find this is more economical and I have more to watch now.

I have Direct TV so some evenings I like to watch Touched by an Angel. I hardly ever watch movies that have profanity or too much sex scenes in them...as I feel they degrade women. Local news channels are also what I watch.

I love the fact that I can watch a missed show online. I can watch a TV show that I missed while my husband watches what he want on the regular TV. There are also much less commercial and often times you can ignore them altogether. I do haye waiting for it to load though.

Very seldom do I watch a full episode over the internet. I typically watch clips of programs that I have missed and when I do watch a clip it is on cnn or msnbc?s website.

I like Hulu because if I miss a program I can always catch up. It's great because there are not as many commercials.!
