According to a new report, Dads don't seem to get as much love on Father's Day as Moms do on Mother's Day. We are spending more than 20% less on Dad than we do on Mom!

My children and I spent $80 on a new office chair because his old one was beat up and I made him dinner in which he told me exactly what he wanted and he was happy. He didn't even want a gift but we felt he deserved it anyway because he works so hard for us and is always giving us special gifts.
My dad has every tool under the sun so I usually by the accesories that go with them. They are usually less than $30 and it's almost always something he needs but doesn't have
This was my husbands 1st Father's Day, so I went all out. Shopping spree, brunch, and I rented a boat on the Lake for 4 hours...he loved it and had an amazing time!
I bought my husband a new motorcycle helmet and we purchased him a quaker parrot from the kids. We spent about 100 for the helmet and 150 for the bird.
My dad died 21 years ago so I make a donation in his honor ever year on Father's Day and his birthday to the USO. He would have loved it. He remembered the USO so fondly from his service in the Navy.

Bought my husband a golf club, $300.
I just gave my husband a portrait of our children (free 11x14) , and a card I created for him on Shutterfly, some free cologne samples from Sephora. The he children helped to bake a cake, and we BBQed. So if you count food I may have spent $50.
I love my Dad he has given to me always I love to bless him with the unexpected. He never had much growing up so I listen and try to make these days better for him. He loves the fiddle so I bought him one and lessons he loved it.
