There is so much in the news about a company’s reputation. Does a company’s reputation impact your decision to buy a brand? We’d like to hear your thoughts!
The company's responsibility and trustworthiness is one of my top priorities (34.5%)
It sometimes impacts my purchase, but it's not a top priority (50.2%)
I don't think about it much - other criteria are much more important to me when shopping (15.3%)
It depends on what item it is. If it is food or an item for my children, I would definantly think twice.
I think about the ethics of the company. If they are unethical i look at a diffrent companies product. also i will look at any recalls they had and if they handled them well.
I pay more attention to and try to buy products from companies I trust, but in this economy, I sometimes have to choose a lower price.
With everything we are hearing today about corporate dishonesty. I would not want to give my hard earned money to a dishonest company.
Good customer service and employee appreciation are one of my top priorities when choosing a company. I want the company to be thankful and appreciative of my business whether or not I have a positive or negative experience with them. On the same token I would expect them to have the same respect for their employees as well.
if I knew that a product received funding to a political group that I oppose such as the Democrates then I would NEVER buy the product That is why I stopped using Heinz product and lead a grass roots effort to have others bann the use of that product here in Phila as feel that have destroyed this country!
If I knew the company was operating unethically, I would not purchase from them, but, I don't always know who is unethical and who is not.
I have stopped shopping at a couple of fast food restaurants because they were on the news about abuse of livestock. I would also not buy products that were tested on amimals.
Most of the time when I'm shopping I can't actually look up the company's record of responsibility,so it really does not play a major role(unless of course I actually heard something extremely negative)
