Mother's Day is almost here. Did you know that Mother's Day was conceived after the Civil War and initially intended as a call to unite women against war? Mother's Day in the US has transformed into a day to give thanks to our mothers. Which of the following gifts would you want to receive most this Mother's Day and why? We want to know!
A day spent with your family/children (45.1%)
A day at the spa (41.1%)
Flowers (3.1%)
Chocolate (3.3%)
Jewelry (7.6%)
Oh, I know, the CORRECT answer is to spend it with my kids, because it IS Mother's Day, but really - what I wouldn't give for the break. I don't even need all the services at the spa, just let me put on the robe, give me some green tea, and let me read gossip magazines for a few hours. That would rejuvenate me!
I am blessed to be a stay at home mom and spend everyday with my 3 young children, but for Mother's Day, there is nothing like the homemade cards and gifts and just spending a day out with the family! : )
As much as I adore my family, mommy needs a break sometimes. I would love a nice relaxing day at the spa... then I'll be rejuvenated and better able to enjoy my adorable husband and son.
I agree with everyone else. Spending time with your children is priceless. You only have a little time to watch them grow into their own person and adult so I try to do as much with them as I can.
Several physical problems right now, so a relaxing spa treatment would be nice.
Day at the Spa. My children are adult and I see them all them time. (something I do enjoy) But a day at the spa would be wonderfull.
I ultimately would LOVE to have all of my boys (men) home with me, but three of them are in the service, one of them in Iraq, one in Afghanistan and one stationed in Miramar. My fourth son is away at college...So, a day at the spa would be so nice to help me relax and de-stress! :)
I would so much like to spend time with my husband and children because we hardly have time together. This year we are trying to have two weekends night out ,to dine out as a family. We hope to continue this tradition till probably when the children leave home which is a looooooong time from now.
Family time is great! But after being with them all week, the spa sounds like heaven to me!!!
I love my family, but i will take a day at the spa!! I totally need it, 3 kids under the age of 5.
