I am frequently out of the country on Valentine's Day. This year I will be here but we are sharing costs with our neighbors and throwing a combined birthday/Valentine's bash and having it catered instead of giving gifts to each other. It was a joint decision with many couples and I think will be a great time without a ton of expense.

My husband and I usually leave our kids with my mom and go out for an amazing night together.

We just found out we were having our first child last year. We had a nice dinner, flowers and jewelry for me. This year we are staying in with our daughter. I am going to make the dinner we had on our first Valenrtines Day.

With the economy we will spend less this year. Last year we got a babysitter and went to dinner and movie and came home with a nice bottle of wine. This year we will stay home with kids and have a dinner her with bottle of wine we already have.

We usually take turns for Valentine's day. One year I will cook a big meal, the next year my husband will cook. But, since we just had a baby in October, our Valentine's Day will be spent with him. We look forward to cuddling with him by the fire. May have a glass of wine and watch a movie as a family. Doesn't that sound just wonderful! :)

My fiance will be working on Valentine's Day, so we will most likely go out to dinner on Friday. I will be spending less money this year - last year we hit the casino and the casino hit our wallets! I am still looking for a great inexpensive gift - anyone have a great idea?
