I have really cut back on spending!! I no longer buy just to be buying but as a need. I've set a budget for myself and try to stick within it. I have stayed at home (from movies, dinner)on a few occasions because the activities would have put me over my budget that I have set for myself.
I have really cut back recently. I am a single mom of 3 and I'm constantly robbing peter to pay paul. I wish something would change!
My biggest problem is taking my husband to Walmart with me. He just grabs everything and throws it in the cart. He does not look at prices. I do, and especially now, do not buy non-essentials. I really feel for you single moms out there right now. I know it is hard. Maybe we will have a better future .Hang in there.
I realize that people are having to cut back. Everyone is feeling the crunch right now. BUT I refuse to go through life without having anything that I want. I am a single mother of a ten year old and I don't go out and spend every dime I have on fun stuff but I try to get her something every week- even if its just going to rent a movie as a treat. Life is too short to just sit back and be miserable. And I plan on setting the example to my daughter on how to enjoy it - even when times are tough. These are the times when you find out just what you are made of.
I would like to cut my spending in department stores
I want to cut down on department charges
The only way i could cut back is at grocery store.
Watching where the money goes, finding health care for my recently unemployed son that has a possiable tumor in the back of his head. Any idea's?
I'm nineteen years old and I'm just now starting to see what it's like to be an adult. I'm trying to get a job and the only money I receive is what my parents give me. Gas sucks up all of this money, and I hardly have enough for food, clothes, medicine, or luxury items. It's tough trying to budget everything, but at least there are hardly any temptations around here -- no malls, no video game stores, no arcades... just the neighborhood Walmart!
i agree that if you dont need it dont buy it
