Too early to say for sure, but I think he's on the right track.

I'm trying to be patient but its really hard. He is our President for the next four years whether we like him or not so we just need to stay involved to get things turned around. It's going to take time. I'm hoping he doesn't just leave "change" in our pockets!

I personally think hes doing everything opposite of what we need right now. He may have good intentions but I thnk hes going about the wrong way to achive them. There are better ways to do things then throwing money around, killing innocents, and going around as if hes still on the campaign trail. I personally never had high hopes from him but he still has his 4 years to try and change my opinion wich I have to say is looking rather bleak. He says he is a Change but is it really a change americans will want when they look back on history if this keeps up?

I am just overwhelmed and cant wait to sit down and make a list of how I will spend that extra 10 bucks a week! Our financial office told us there will be trouble if you work 2 jobs and you WILL GET the 10 buck stimuls to each job and then if you do taxes, you will have to pay in, Also if both are working and you both get the stimulus, one will have to pay back. That came down to us at a big hospitial i work for from our accounting to all employees, so be sure you know what is going on or that big $10 stimulus might bite you in the butt!

I think he hasn't been in office long enough to tell. I dont like the new Tobacco tax enforced April 1, I think alcohol should be taxed as well . DRunk drivers kill someone everyday. I also dont like the abortion thing, Its just not right and I dont like gay marriage that he stands behind how could you as a parent yourself support abortion? But I think that he came into the white house in a mess and I think that he is probably doing the best that he can and we should all continue to pray for him!

Its took Years of bad magement Bad Choices of our Goverment. Its not a quick fix for our problems. I think Barack obama, is doing Great for the little time he has had, in office. It takes time to Clean up Washington & our bad Choices Goverment.

Its not a matter of republican versus democrat, but what works and what does not work. If Bush tried this stimulus package, he would have been laughed out of the white house. But nonetheless, the facts are still there abt the $10 stimulus in our checks and how we need to be sure it is not done double becacuse we will pay that back at tax time. Has nothing to do with republican, bitterness. What is right is right and whats wrong is wrong. Nothing else needs to be said.

Why does our country --our government in th business of selling alcohol in their own stores for their profit and then ticket people for using it. Sounds like a set up!

Sunny94--it was all Bush could do to keep immoral stuff out of the white house. So now, the bad choices and clean up as you describe it will be abortion funded by taxpayers, gay marriage, tobacco tax, --yeah, he will clean up alright. Why does anyone who trys to do good get dissed but if you are worldly and work for the things of the world, you are popular? This is Obamas popularity--he works for the immoral.
