Do you color or highlight your hair?

Spring is well underway and it seems like so many of us like to "brighten" our look after the long and dark winter! So, we were curious, just how many of us actually highlight our hair?

Whether you do it to cover grey, brighten up your own color or to completely change color, we were curious, do you color or highlight your hair? Why?

Yes- I usually do it myself with home hair color products (50.5%)

Yes- I usually go to a salon for a stylist to do (28.5%)

No- I do not color or highlight my hair (11.6%)

Not yet, but I'm thinking about it (9.3%)

    I can never get my colors to match...that is why my stylist does it!!! Shes great!

    I worry that I won't do a good job at home and don't want to make my sink a mess.

    I have a friend who loves to come over and dye my hair. Saves me a ton of money and she is happy to help!

    When I finally decide to put color in my hair, I'm going to the salon. I would hate to do something to make it fall out. That would be devastating.

    when it comes to plain old color , I do it myself! Anything more than that, like highlights or lowlights, my stylist does it! So it really is a 50/50 split for me!

    i love coloring my own hair! it comes out just the way i love it..

    I only color my hair about twice a year if that. But when I do, I do it myself. It comes out just as good. If I ever want to get highlights again, I will get that professionally done though. I tried those at home kits for highlighting and it wasn't as easy as the commercials made it look. But for all over color... I'm a do-it-yoursef-er

    i lighten my hair so it is pretty easy i have very dark hair and all i am going for is a lighter look and as long as it doesn't turn red i will be happy and i geuss if that happens then i will start paying someone but so far so good.

    I just usually do light highlights to brighten my skin tone and bring out my greater features :)

    I get blonde highlights every few months.
