Its that time of the year again! The time we all dread- April 15th! The average US tax payer spent 24.2 hours preparing their tax return in 2007. That is equal to over 3.1 billion hours spent preparing tax returns in the US alone!
With so much time and energy spent on taxes, we were curious how many people were planning to file tax extensions this year.
Do you plan to file an extension this year?
Yes (9.8%)
No (90.2%)
I filed and just need to send the check. I just hate to sit down and write the check.
Thankfully I have a hubby who likes to get taxes over with so he files them as soon as all the W2's come in. We got our refund the first week of February, too bad it didn't last long! hee hee
Did mine first week of February using H & R Block's TaxCut software. I've been using it for the last 4 years. It's a great, user-friendly program.
Already filed ours and already spent the money lol
We usually wait until the first week in April even though we usually get a refund.
Nope, used turbo tax, it's great.
Did our taxes in January and already spent the check on Bills!
Already filed ours, received the refund & paid down some of our credit cards with it.
We filed our's yesterday. :)
No extension... and unfortunately I owe this year!! Yikes!!
