Time to celebrate self and friends - and that love we can all share! (rarely been with someone on this day and have learned to embrace it differently)

My husband and I married Feb. 7th, so we are still in a romantic mood for Valentines Day.

I also enjoy helping kids get their Valentines ready for their friends. It is so much fun.

I'm married, so this day is just another day for me. I do have kids and have always put a small gift on their beds and said it was from Cupid. He comes every year and the kids love it.

My boyfriend and I live 400 miles apart and have yet to spend Valentine's day together, so I tend to think of it as just another day that he and I are away from each other.

I look forward to Valentine's Day so my husband has an excuse to take me to dinner and I love making Valentine's for friends and family like I used to in grade school. I think it's a lot of fun if you make it fun...it doesn't have to be all about romantic love-just brotherly love. :)
