How much of your holiday shopping did you do/plan to do online this year?

Every year, it's the same thing.  Long lines and lots of in-and-out of stores.  More and more people are choosing to do their holiday shopping online.  Although, many people say that shopping in a store is the best way to go so that you can see and feel the items before buying them.

Did you shop online for gifts this year or did you go to stores?  It seems that we all have different preferences.  What do you prefer and why?

    It's so much easier to shop online when I know what I want to purchase as gifts... just a quick price comparison, check for any incentive codes and submit the order at the appropriate site. Saves me lots of time, gas and legwork. Afew I even had sent directly to the recipient so that saved me the high non-bulk cost of shipping again from my home.

    I just recently found the greatest deals on cosmetics online,and shipping was totally free. You can't go wrong!

    I'll take online & catalog shopping anyday - over the (car trips, cold, icey, snow, gas prices, crowds & traffic)....Yucky!!! It's convenient - they (catalog & online) ship directly to the recipients(many times for FREE), offer many incentives, gift cards, discounts,etc - also easy to compare prices online. It's quick, easy and makes sense (saves you time & money) to shop online & catalog.

    I did alot of my shopping online and it did take some of stress off this christmas season

    Most of it online because the prices or deals were better. Some things I will get in the stores.

    I bought my grandson's present online and had it giftwrapped and delivered since he lives out of state! Love online shopping, hate mall or store shopping!

    I did some of my shopping online this year just due to time. I did however stand in the cold on Black Friday outside of toys r us. I do this every year, and most times I am done. Not this year. I have been buying online and going to stores. Nothing like last minute.

    online discounts. some sites you don't even have to pay tax with free shipping.

    Online is good but some sales you just have to make the effort to go there if you really want it at that price.
