I love to wind down with a good family movie with my family on the weekends because it gives us a chance to come together as a family.

My favorite new activity with my family is family art time, which we took from Amanda Soule's book "The Creative Family." Even those of us who don't consider ourselves "artistic" enjoy it; we each have our own sketchbook and work on it together about once a week, doing whatever kinds of art we'd like!

We love to go camping and geocaching. These are our family favorite. We try to go at least once a month.

We really like to watch a good movie...but before that we have a great meal and catch up. And there is popcorn with the movie.

I do different activities when it's just my husband and me, but when we get together with the in-laws, board games are a good way for us to share stories and laugh together.

My hubby works a lot but is off on weekends so we are mostly indoors then. We love to have our movie nights!
