My youngest 2 kids are too young to help, though they love to "help." My Oldest is past the wanting to help stage and I have a hard time getting him to help.

My son works long hours and when he's not working, gets a chance to hang with his friends. So the spring cleaning is all on me. He does pay rent, though. That makes it up for me.

My kids learned early to pitch in and help out. My daughter is into doing dishes right now : ) hopefully she won't outgrow it lol

My kids love to help clean the house, but for some reason hate cleaning their own rooms. Every other night we also do a 15 minute power clean. We set the timer and run around doing as much cleaning as possible in that 15 mins once the timer dings we have to stop. The kids love the race aspect of the cleaning and it's absolutely amazing what you can accomplish in that 15 mins!!!!

my girls are still too little to help with the major cleaning. I let them dust and pick up their toys but once they get a little older I will have them help me clean up and clean out (donate) the clutter. I get more done when the are off to sleep

Even at the young age of 22 months & 3.5 years old, the kids will help pick up toys...and attempt to sweep & dust.

I do most of my cleaning while they are at school so we can spend more family time having fun.
