New Year is usually a great time to reassess the past year and to create some goals and plans for the coming year’s events. Everyone seems to have a different approach to the practice of New Year’s resolutions.
What do you and other SheSpeaks members want to achieve or change in 2008? If you’ve had some real success with a past years’ resolutions we’d love to hear your inspiring stories.

Maybe (24.2%)
No (30.7%)
I'm trying to be more patient, especially with my young children.
I start my New Year's resolution a few weeks before so by the time New Year's rolls around, it is not such a shock! I find it easier to stick to if I take a running start at it.
I don't make New Year's Resolutions. The holiday season is stressful enough without trying to set overly optimistic and unrealistic goals on top of it. I use my birthday as more of a goal setting time so I can just enjoy New Years with a light heart.
I agree with napastyle, too stressful and to add that to it is absurd. I love the birthday idea as a time to set some goals.
well im planning on losing some weight, lol but idk, i lose a few gain more.......
I'm not sure if I am going to make it a resolution or not. But, I goal is to start taking better care of my self: health, beauty & emotionally.
last year my new years commitment was to quit smoking.. and I did it!!
I don't make resolutions. It's only setting myself up for failure.
Every year I resolve to giv eup smoking and lose weight and eat healthier....by Valentine's day its all down the drain ...LOL
I never make a resolution. I can't stand the pressure!
