I'm still sceptical about it all. I hope everything he does and is doing will be a positive influence on our country and economy. I think he was the better choice for president. So far I think he is doing great and I don't think we can really judge him and make opinions yet considering he has only been president for what.....a month or so! All I can say is if he can make anything right that bush messed up...then he's doin a great job!

I have complete faith in him that he will follow through with his promises. He needs more time to do the things that need to be done... things just don't happen over night.I voted for him & i still believe in him. :)

I really wish people would stop with the socialist and communist comments. They are unhelpful and untrue. It reminds me a lot of the Red Scare, everyone being labeled a communist. Some idiot shouted out Obama was going to turn America into a socialist nation and the American people, as usual, jumped on the bandwagon. Another thing, a lot of Americans REALLY need to learn some basic economics. Judging from the idiotic comments on this thread alone, we would do well to take a high school economics class. While it is our rights as Americans to criticize our government, educated criticism looks way better that just repeating what someone has said and running with it.

I'm still waiting to see how he's going to handle things. Taking a wait-and-see attitude.

I think he's accomplished more in 50 days then Mr. Bush accomplished in 8 years! All good steps in the right direction! Please don't go on me if you think otherwise. I let you speak your mind...now I've spoken mine...This is what truly defines democracy!

There's no way for me assess what kind of job he's doing with only 50 days in office, so I will reserve judgement for at least a year. He's a very intelligent, and articulate man, who's surrounded himself with very knowledgeable people to advise him. Together, I'm hopeful that they will have the capacity to "fix" the crisis-level problems facing our country. I didn't vote for him, but he's our leader now, and I'll support him, as long as things keep moving forward in a positive manner. That is not to say that I don't have very real concerns with some of his proposed policiies and ideologies. It'll take some convincing for him to prove to me that we're not marching down the path toward Socialism.

i dont know about you people but i dont believe one person can make a difference by themselves it takes all of us to make a change in how we view life from negative to positive and help each other. President Obama has only been in office for few months and everyone is expecting a miracle thats not a realistic view. Bush messed up and now its going to take a long time to clean up.
