I want my kids to learn early how to contribute to the household!
Of course!!
My son is grown, and on his own. But I remember helping my parents around the house, and it made me a more independant person
My kids are teens and they pitch in sometimes, mostly when I tell them to.
They love to swiffer.
My daughter helps. She usually packs a bag of the things she does not want anymore and we go and donate it.
My daughter is now in college, but she used to help. I really miss her help and her company. It made the job easier. She helped with the cleaning early on; I think it teaches a valuable lesson and lifelong habits.
I wish!!! My children are still a little young for house cleaning although my four year old loves to help out but really isn't much help. lol
My older kids have moved out and my youngest is still too young to really help out. At 3 he is much better at making the mess that I work so hard at cleaning up.
