We hardly get snow but when we do the kids just go crazy... So do mom and dad
We are hoping for a snow day tomorrow as we live in Texas and rarely get them.
The snow is so pretty to look at...but I don't like driving on it so I just stay home, too!
We have been having a ton of snow this winter up North. We have to get out of the house and do something fun, otherwise we all start getting cabin fever!
I live in Alaska so It's too cold most days to stay outside for very long playing in the snow. I enjoy staying inside where it's warm and looking at it from the window lol
It sucks here in CA because we don't have snow days :( When we have rainy or really cold days, we stay at home and usually have a movie marathon night.
We hardly get snow in south texas, but we lived in washington state for a while with my oldest and she loved to play in it!!!! It is just fun to get out and do different things with your kids, I love to see the reactions on their faces to new things!!!
I am a rural mail carrier so even when there is a snow day, I still have to work :(
We love staying inside by the fire, watching a movie and drinking hot chocolate!
We try to do a little of all of it. Play outside in it (while the older kids and I shovel and engage in some play) and then come in and warm up in front of the fireplace with hot cocoa, fresh baked cookies and board games. Snow days are a great time to reconnect as a family. Sadly though with a husband who is in the military it is very seldom that he gets a "snow day" to share with us.
