I buy what I can afford. If its out of my budget then it has to wait till I can afford it, but it feels great when I get it!

buying when things are onsale seems to be the best route. I used to live in GA and shop in Walmart ALOT b/c they had a full grocery store. Then i went to a regular grocery store one day and realized that with coupons or just buying the right things onsale was CHEAPER than walmart, by ALOT!! I could get the name brand for the same price as Private Label in Walmart b/c they count on giving you a few really low cost items and then other things are not the best price but they count on you not noticing or caring. So it really worked out better to buy onsale in a regular store for better quality than to get the cheapest crappiest walmart everything and not save much......so sales and coupon buying at the right time not every shopping trip, but when its a good price. And never shop hungry!! Lol i do it all the time but that will drive your bill up for sure!

I'm a big coupon clipper and I also like to wait until the items I want are on sale to save even more.

I have not change my spending habits. I get my Sunday newspaper and I look forward to the coupon sections. This helps me out greatly.

In a way it's actually good. I wait until something I want is on sale and I usually end up getting a great deal on it rather than if I had bought it on impulse as soon as I wanted it!

I only buy things on sale now and most often only if I also have a coupon. I only go to grocery stores that double the coupon as well.

I am much more careful with what I spend. I look for sales and coupons. I think twice about buying anything now. We cook our meals in rather than buy take out. I clip coupons but am annoyed at myself when I forget to bring them with me. I look for the BOGO offers in the grocey stores. It is amazing how much money I save by cutting back on my daily shopping. Now I only go into a store when I actually need somethng. I also do much more internet shopping - gives me the chance to compare prices and look for free shipping.

I am still looking for the best deals out there when I have to purchase something. No matter how good things get, we should always be on the lookout for deals.

I always used coupons before and I still do. Why not get the best deal you can? I still buy what I want but I always try to save. And I feel great when I get that bargain!!
