During the economic downturn, what little extras will you still purchase?

With so many people losing jobs and investment portfolios taking a hit, consumers are being more thoughtful with purchases. 

We were curious about which "extras" you are eliminating during this recession?

    I believe that besides myself my kids are getting stressed out about the economy, so it's nice to give them a little treat once in a while.

    Continuing to go out to dinner does two things for me. It's a treat for myself and I'm supporting local businesses and the economy by spending my money locally.

    i am a coupon clipper so i still find ways to get snacks on a budget and go out to eat on a budget.

    still like to buy some things i to add a little pleasure to mine and my kids lives. I cannot afford to buy much, but the dollar store and walmart have great buy that are inexpensive.

    I don't go out for dinner as often as I used to, but I still feel the need to do this every other week with my husband.

    Call me vain, but I can't live without my makeup. I have been buying more drugstore brands recently and have found there are lots of wonderful products out there that I had no idea about.

    I will still do the same things as always, but will seek to find a less expensive way to do it......Coupons or free stuff being one of the best ways I know. You still have to live and enjoy life and I will do that.

    I don't have kids, but I will still spoil my husband the best I can, eat a few meals out and I have to have my makeup

    I will not leave the home without my makeup, My children and husband will always be number one in my life, so gifts, snacks, and movies will be included in my monthly budget. Snacks are a must as well. I love to sit and watch a good movie every night with something to munch on! I dont know where I am going to spend less, I think I will live like I always do!
