I absolutely love my kitchenaid mixer. I love how I can get add ons for grinding meat and making pasta. The biggest downside to me is how heavy and hard to store this thing is. I feel like a weight lifter lugging this thing out of my cabinet (I don't have much room in my kitchen to leave it out). I have never had a problem with it, and I intend to get the meat grinder and pasta maker soon so I can use my mixer in more ways. Absolutely great mixer, just heavy.

I have 2 Kitchenaid stand mixers and the 9 speed hand mixer. I just don't like the tilt head models.

I LOVE THIS MIXER IS SO beautiful i got it for my birthday use it every time i'm baking goodies

Bowl isn't wide enough, but its a good mixer otherwise

Works amazing for anything and everything with different attachments, very stylish but it takes up a lot of counter space.

I have the industrial size one of these and although it gets the job done I'm just not a fan. These mixers take up way too much space in a kitchen. Unless you have a huge kitchen and or plenty of free counter space it stinks. Mine sits in a closet. Not to mention its a hassle to clean.

I'm very pleased with the mixing job it does, but I don't feel like I use it enough to justify the price tag or the amount of space it takes up (not to mention the weight). For someone who bakes a lot, it's probably worth it. But if you'll be using it once a month like I do- save your money!

I don't personally own one, however I use the one at my Mother's house all the time. I find it useful for almost every recipe I can think of. I just wish they weren't so expensive, I would have one for myself.

I have a Kitchen Maid Mixer. I use it occasionally. I find that it is too large for me so I use it for the recipes with large amounts of ingredients to be mixed. I use it if I double a recipe but for the normal mixtures I use a hand mixer. I find this is a little difficult to clean and takes up a bit of space on the counter.

Bread Dough Trouble I love this high powered mixer! I however, make a lot of bread dough & hate that the hook doesn't reach all the way to the bottom of the bowl! I hv to use my hand or a tool to mix the oil & salt & sugar in which makes it a pain when I'm trying to hurry!!

This is a great mixer but I think that other products could be found that work just as well for a lower price point.

My Kitchen Aid mixer makes baking much quicker and easier than using a hand mixer. The issue I have with it is that it leaves ingredients unmixed at the bottom and that is very frustrating.

I was really disappointed in this mixer. I purchased the pink one and only used it for about a year before it stopped working. I used it maybe a total of 6-7 times in that period. I tried to return it where I bought it, but they told me to go to the manufacturer. The mfg. said it was out of warranty. Probably won't be buying another kitchen-aid product again.

I love to bake and cook, so I had to have this mixer. As soon as I saved up enough money I purchased one and was a little disappointed. It always leaves unmixed ingredients at the very bottom unless your constantly scraping down the sides and it is very loud. I purchased a cuisinart 7 quart mixer instead and I LOVE it. It's a little more expensive but worth every penny.

I have used one at my Mom's and found that the area between the beaters and the side of the bowl is too narrow. It is too heavy to move. I prefer my Mix Master any day and so does my Mom. She plans to give her Kitchen Aid away.
