My mom bought me one for Christmas a few years ago, and it is amazing. I do not have counter space to keep it out, but I store it in a cabinet. Unfortunately it is so heavy to bring out, so I end up only using it when I plan to do a lot of mixing, around the holidays.

With the exception of the price being way TOO much this product is hands down one of the best things I have ever bought. I use it for baking cookies during the winter session. I use it to make pasta and pizza dough. I even use it for juicing! I love it and for the avid cooker/baker its wonderful and should be one of the top products you buy when considering what should go in your kitchen!

I LOVE my KitchenAid mixer! I have it in the brushed metal which looks really good setting out on the counter! I have had my mixer for 4 years and it is still going strong. The purchase price isn't bad especially if you can get it on sale (usually at Macys) I do wish that the attachments were not so expensive because then I would own all of them! I knew when I went to purchase a mixer I would only go with a KitchenAid because that is the brand my mother has had since we purchased it for her mother's day gift over 20 years ago! They are the best on the market!!!

My mom got this mixer, and as someone who loves cooking and baking I knew I'd have to get one too! I actually received mine as a gift (it was first intended to be a wedding gift, but when I cancelled my grandpa told me to keep it as a "Thank god you didn't marry that guy!" gift.) I use this for a good deal of my baking now! Cupcakes, breads, etc. For me, it's actually a rather large mixer and I often have to make more than I need to get all the ingredients to mix really well...but that doesn't bother me too much, I don't mind sharing my baked goods with family and friends...and they never seem to mind either! :)

This is a great mixer. It has many attachnents available and comes in a variety of colors. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is too tall to fit under my cabinet.

I love my Kitchen aid mixer. I use it for cakes, buttercream, and all my baking needs. I could not live without it. This is one of the best kitchen investments I have made.

I don't have this yet but I did use it. It's easy to use and clean. When I save up enough money this is 1 product I'm going to purchase. It comes in different colors. Fun for a gift of just for ur own needs.

I absolutely adore my kitchen aid stand mixer. I use it for everything from cakes to mashed potatoes. I have had it for about six years. A few months back, the motor started acting up, but after a while it seemed to fix itself.

Love this mixer so much I've had two. Started with the 5 quart, gave it to my sister and purchased the 6-quart model in cobalt blue. I use it for baking, kneading bread, grinding meat (with the attachment) and would recommend it for anyone. Would love one of the new colors, but it's so sturdy and reliable it will last forever. The reason for four stars is that when mixing cookie dough, the blades do not quite always pick up everything from the bottom of the bowl. I have to stop and scrape a couple of times to make sure everything gets mixed in properly.

I love this mixer, best upgrade I've made in a while.

This is a wonderful mixer with a great deal of versatility. However, it is heavy and takes up a fair amount of counter space. I find I am always moving it around based on whatever project I am using it for.

I always thought this was an un-necessary kitchen accessory. How wrong I was. My husband bought me the 5qt Artisan mixer. I probably use it at least once a week to either mix cake or brownie batter from scratch or make dough for bread, and now I wonder why I didn't get this years ago.

I love my mixer but I keep having problems with a screw coming loose and it rattles like no other. No matter how many times you fix it. Regardless of the rattling, this is one of the best mixers I have ever had
