It's a No for me unfortunately~ I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I use Tampax Pearl (the regular kind) all the time. It's the only kind I use. So, in turn, I thought I would like Tampax Pocket Pearl. However, there are a few things I don't like. I don't feel as protected as when I use the standard Tampax Pearl. Also, I don't feel comfortable applying Pocket Pearl. Lastly, I normally put the applicator back into the wrapper, which is quick and easy with the standard Tampax Pearl. However, with Pocket Pearl, you have to rip the wrapper to get it out leaving a blunt edge to toy with to try to put the applicator back in it to wrap it and throw it away. It's just not as convenient as I thought it would be.

Looks aren't everything I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. After using these tampons for a few days, I won't be purchasing them. Carrying a smaller package may be slightly more convenient in certain circumstances (couldn't think of any for myself, but I did for my teen) however, if the trade off is having to Macgyver an applicator, I'm out. It clicked in just fine, but wouldn't stay clicked. It took me a couple tries with the first tampon and I never really felt like it was inserted all the way. The space you grip the applicator to plunge isn't big enough. And finally, I just don't like the shape of the actual tampon itself; it's uncomfortable to remove. I did like easily the packaging opened. My message to Tampax would be this -- why spend so much time & effort dressing up a tampon when functionality & security is the problem? Is the colorful packaging & colored applicator cute? I guess... Does color & a smaller size make the product better than what's already out there? Nope.

Uncomfortable and lots of plastic I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. After using this product for a few days I have noticed some things that I like and dislike about these tampons. I did not like all the plastic and packaging, personally I don't care about how a tampon looks, I just want them to be comfortable and not leak. These tampons were somewhat uncomfortable and difficult to remove due to their winged design. I did like how discreet these were but that was about it. The applicator did not work properly either. Overall, I did not like this tampon. Too much useless packaging and didn't fit right. I will not use these next time around.

Not reliable I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I really wanted to like these, but the applicator did not function properly and I wasted them because they were not reliable. I like the brand, but these definitely need a more functional applicator.

Not the Best I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I did not care for these tampons. I felt like they were difficult to insert and I often had to insert them without the applicator.

Applicator needs work ?I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions.? I really like the fact that I can carry these in a small pouch instead of having to tote a purse around. I do not think the applicator is made well at all! Hope that gets worked out very soon as I have teen daughters that also tried them with the same issue.

Application too small I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. This type of tampon did not work at all for me. The applicator was too small for proper insertion thus leaving it uncomfortable or just come right out. I prefer the longer applicators with more leeway for error and insertion

Leaks I received a free sample of tampax to try from shespeaks and the following are my opinions. At first look they are small.and compact and can easily fit in a small purse or clutch and they have a fun design on the packaging. Once I used them however I was not that pleased with them. I didn't really like the way the compact applicator was designed and for me they didn't hold up very well. I was constantly having to change due to leaking and I haven't really had that trouble let very often since getting my period. Did to that fact alone I don't really think I would use them again.

Not a fan I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. The compact size is nice. However, the "classic" Tampax have much better protection. I also do not care for all that plastic for environmental reasons. I would not buy these again, but will keep the remaining and put in my purse for emergencies. Hopefully Tampax will start to make more eco-friendly products and use organic cotton. I would love to buy those!

Don't like the applicator I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. They worked well, did the job. The applicator could have been a little better though

Still prefer my go-to brand I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I usually use ob because of the way they expand width wise and are compact enough to carry in your pocket. While these are smaller than regular tampax they are still too big to fit comfortably in your pocket. Also I do not like the way they expand out and flat. Probably won't buy.

I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. Unfortunately, I found the applicator to be very unreliable. I like the idea of this being compact, however the applicator design allows for the plunger to slip out of place and prevent the tampon from being inserted fully.

Applicator not very good This is my first time using a 'compact' tampon. Yes, it's convenient in terms of its size so it takes up less space in my purse. However, I had a lot of difficulty inserting this tampon. It took me a good 5 minutes or so before I got it in as I was getting quite frustrated. I really disliked the applicator and I've never had a problem with any other tampons. Everything else worked fine except for the insertion part. I actually had to go back to my box and pull out the instructions to see what in the world I was doing wrong. Would I purchase this next time? Probably not. Needs a little work I received a free sample of Tampax Pocket Pearl to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. Efficient on the flow end, but I'm in agreement with the others, the applicator isn't the best it could be. Smoother 'discharge' of the tampon would be an important improvement to make this product live up to the Tampax name.

Not my favorite. Applicator could def use some work . Not a fan of these. For some reason I have a hard time inserting these. They keep coming out of the applicator before they are correctly inserted. I went through 2 of them before I got one to work. The next day, very same thing. Once in, I did appreciate how it has the extra absorption. I received this free sample from the shespeaks program, for my honest review..
