Entertainment Done Well As a kid I loved this movie, and I still love it now. The daring rescues, exciting fights, witty banter, and epic romance. It's a movie that everyone can enjoy. The incredible storytelling always suck me into the fantastical world of The Princess Bride.

Comfort movie A classic, truly. On point sense of humor, many references and jokes to be made. A staple. If you haven't seen this yet, what are you doing with your life? I watch this several times a year. One of those comfort movies to put on when you're home sick or too tired to invest yourself in a new movie, so you go for something you can quote word for word instead and play it in the background while you have soup and take a nap.

Classic Perfection This movie is one of the favorite in my house. I can't even begin to count how many times my family has watched this show. We are constantly quoting this movie. It is such a funny movie. It is the classic romance, there is so much more to this movie than just cheesy lovey dovey stuff. The Princess Bride is just so much better than the average romance. Their love story is so much more realistic, other than the ?There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there's usually only one thing you can do.? Such a great movie would recommend it 12/10.

So good still... This movie is so good still. I wish we could still get fun light movies like this made and people would watch them. My extra tidbit is I got to meet Cary Elwes once and he was super nice. I could melt for him now, though he is old enough to be my dad.

To say I love it is not enough This has been one of my favorite movies for such a long time. It offers an escape from reality to a comedy romace.

Classic non-Disney Princess Movie I loved this when it first came out & still love it to this day! There's the classic twist of the villian, there's RUS's, Andre the Giant is in it...What's not to love? A classic falling in love, thought that the main character lost their love, gets kidnapped, gets rescued, finds out their love hasn't died. It's a well rounded story over all.

AS YOU WISH?? The Princess Bride is one my fave classic 80?s movies!!! Love, suspense, laughter, etc. The actors and actresses in the movie have all become very well known in the industry with later movies they starred in. The movie is funny from start to finish from Unconceivable lines you will keep on quoting to the Mawage scene. This is a great family film!!! Very tame compared to what movies are like now!!!

this is a movie for almost everyone

Love this movie - remember watching it for the first time in Jr High - teacher had to mute a certain part - which made me more curious to find out what it was! lol Still love watching from time to time! "As You Wish!"

This is one of the few times that I believe the movie was superior to the book. I disliked the constant 'flashbacks' in the book but in the movie it was sweet. It actually improved the movie and added a sweet child-bearing quality. Very fun movie for all ages.

While this isn't a movie I can watch over and over again, I love watching it every once in a while. My friends will definitely vouch for me quoting the movie incessantly though!
