it was a bit rough on the skin, as the beads didn't disolve very quickly, however, my face did feel smoother and I could tell it took off a lot of the dead skin. I've added it regular face wash,.

I received this to try and was very happy because I had run out of my other cleanser. I was a little set off by the smell but when I tried it the very first night it replaced my other cleanser. It is light weight and didn't leave that dry tight feeling. The first night I noticed my skin looked better then the other cleanser made it look

I like the feel of my skin after I washed it with this Olay product. It makes my skin very soft. The exfoliating cleasenr is gentle enough to use every day. The one thing that I didn't like was that it did not keep my skin free of oil for very long. I have a problem with oliy skin, and I still have troubles finding a facial wash that will keep the oil at bay.

I am a 48 year old with oily, acne-prone and aging skin. I live in the South where the heat and humidity in the summer adds to my oiliness. I struggle to find products that meet my diverse skincare needs. My rating is based on one use of the Olay Exfoliating Renewal Cleanser in the shower this evening. I plan to use it again and supplement my review after more use. I wanted to post my review b/c I just got this free product from She Speaks in the mail today and already had a reminder yesterday to review it. The product came in a tube describing it and it's actions, but w/o directions. So, I used it in the shower as a cleanser and did not remove my makeup first. I liked the fact that it had no detectable scent, which can be harsh on my sensitive skin. It was a creamy, white cleanser with microscopic exfoliating beads, which made the pleasant-feeling cleanser feel like it maybe had powder in it. The exfoliation was mild, which, again was nice on my sensitive skin. This cleanser was hard to rinse off due to its creaminess. I am glad I used it in the shower. When I use it in the morning, I will probably gently wipe it off with a soft washcloth after scrubbing with my fingers. I did not feel exceptionally clean after drying like I expected. And I felt like I had residue still on my face. So, I did the toner/cotton ball test, and sure enough, I could see residue on the cotton ball after wiping my face. I am curious to see how the product behaves tomorrow evening after I remove my makeup before exfoliating. Perhaps that is the intention. Also, my face did not feel as soft to the touch like some exfoliators make it feel. Perhaps the product didn't reach my skin well due to not removing my makeup first. I will post a follow up review after I've used this product another few times under other conditions. So, for now, I rate it good for sensitive skin, gentle, and pleasant feeling, but not good as a cleanser w/o removing makeup first.

I agree that this is creamy and not too abrasive, but I didn't feel like my face was really clean after use. I will keep this in the shower and use occasionally, but not daily.

It was just okay. It helped exfoliate the flakes off my face from using Tazorac. The beads are gentle and don't scratch or irritate like others do. The beads easily rinsed away. It didnt have enough suds for my liking, so I ended up using my go to facial cleanser to get that clean feeling. I wish it had a smell. I would use it again but only to exfoliate; 2-3 times a week.
