Definitely not a fan. I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I really, really wanted to like this tampon but I didn't. I ended up needing them within days of their arrival, and I really didn't like them from the start. First, I get that having your period isn't a ton of fun, but I don't need a "pearly" plastic applicator to make me feel better. I spent a lot of time thinking about how stupid that was, actually. Just keep it simple. I did not like the string or the weird way it was woven, either. As a matter of fact, a couple of the strings were sort of shedding in pieces. I also thought the tampon itself expanded in a strange way. Instead of staying shaped and expanding, it sort of unfolded from itself (almost square), which also revealed where the string was attached to the center. I'm not sure if that was purposeful or a defect but, either way, it made me feel really weird about whether or not this type of tampon is safe for continued use. Finally, I hate to give TMI, but it's true - I've been feeling irritated in that area since I started using these tampons. I won't be switching from my regular brand.

Ehh, not good When I first saw these I thought I'd really like them. I love the compact size, easy to stash anywhere but in actuality this product was not so great. Several of the strings were shredding and coming apart which makes me a little weary when I'm getting ready to shove this product inside me...I'd kinda like to hope it all stays together. When it get wet it expands in a really weird way that was quite uncomfortable. Overall, not something I'd use again. Cute but hmmmm I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. Beautiful packaging the colors were very cute. Size was also great easy to fit in my jeans pocket. Now to the bad part I did like how you had to assemble before inserting. Didn't think they were sturdy during insertion. I still needed up needing extra backup with a panty liner.

Not the best in the Tampax family.. "I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions." I regularly use Tampax Pearl tampons with no complaints. However, I didn't really care for the Pocket Pearls. They didn't seem to remain secure after being inserted. Overall they do the job but, I probably wouldn't buy them unless I had to.

?I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions.? Firstly, I will say that I appreciate the size of these tampons: definitely a smaller size to discretely have on your person, or in your handbag, hiding out somewhere. That aside, I did not find them as nearly as absorbent as a trusted brand I currently use, which is also regular absorbency. I received only half, or less, of the amount of wear time (1.5-2 hours), as opposed to the 4 hour's wear time I get from my other brand, of the same absorbency. This is a big deal, especially if one works in an environment were one cannot get to a restroom exactly when one needs to, or have quick access to a restroom - absorbency is very important. I think the issue is that the tampon is ?compact?, shorter in length, thereby reducing the amount of total cotton and, thereby, lower absorbency, as compared to other ?regular? absorbency brands that are the same in diameter, but longer length. I think the ?pocket? idea is good, but one will not get the same amount of wear time for the lower amount of total cotton. The extended applicator is not always reliable and clicks back down when pushing on it. The special feature of ?Built-in Backup?, was not impressive either. This feature actually made leaks worse: it gave a better pathway for leaks because of the cord thickness - it did not help lessen leaks or stop them. Luckily, I always use a liner for backup when using tampons, so a disaster was prevented, more than once. These tampons wear comfortably throughout the day, and insertion did not cause discomfort because of the nice smooth applicator. All, in all, I don't find them useful. What is the point of a "compact" tampon if they do not absorb much? One will have to monitor their flow much more using these tampons because of absorbancy issues. I will stick to my trusted full-length brand.

Unimpressed These are okay. That's about the best I can say for them. The click applicator could use a minor overhaul to improve ease and efficacy -- it's frustrating, time consuming and fails more than half the time. The tampon itself does the job and is fairly comfortable. However, considering what we know of the life cycle of these plastic applicators, applicator-free seems to be the ethically responsible way to go for the health of the planet. Not a fan! I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I was not a fan of these at all. They were hard for me to use...they are too small. They were not comfortable at all. I would not buy them.

Ok. Not much different I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. Seems to work fine. Not much of a difference with a few other brands. I will continue to use my favorite but glad I had a chance to try something different.

I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions.. I thought the packaging was pretty and liked how compact they were. But everytime I inserted one the applicator seemed to not go in far enough to where I ended up having to push the tampon up with my finger. Going back to my regularly used tampons.

Was excited to try but later disappointed I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I did not like the Tampax Pearl. I have been using tampons for years but never Tampax and was excited to try it. I liked that it was compact but the applicator part gave me difficulty which caused me to not want to use it.

Good idea but poor execution I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. While I do like the smaller size and the very cute packaging, that's not what's most important when selecting a tampon. My biggest issue was the applicator. I found it to be unreliable. It wasn't the most sturdy. After extending the applicator to the full length and clicking it into place, it often unclicked during application resulting in discomfort due to the tampon not being inserted far enough. I had to be very very careful to avoid this and even then it still happened occasionally. After this happens I had to either start over or deal with the discomfort and neither of these options are acceptable to me. They are only slightly smaller than tampons with the full sized applicator, so until they can design these to be more reliable during application, I'll stick with my current product. The cute design was a plus, but it's only that. If the product isn't satisfactory then a cute design is the least of my worries.

Not the best *I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions.* While I loved how small and compact these tampons are, I was not a fan. I found the applicator to be very unreliable at staying in place, which resulted in the tampon to not insert and fit properly. They are a great concept, but unfortunately were a miss for me.

Tampax pearl pocket I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I love Tampax pearl! But I didn't care for the pocket pearl! Yes it was convenient to carry around in my pocket when needed but sometimes the applicator malfunctioned and didn't release correctly which made it sort of difficult! But other than that it is a great product

Not my favorite I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. They're not my favorite. I find the applicator uncomfortable and I always leak when wearing them. I also find them very uncomfortable when wearing them, they always hurt (I use other brands, and this never happens). I wouldn't really recommend them.

Good, but not for me I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. Honestly, I prefer to use sanitary pads over tampons, but I gave these a shot. I like that they are so compact, but I didn't really enjoy the applicator. It felt like insertion was more difficult and like I was being unclean because of the application process. I'll probably use these when I'm in dire need, but I don't really think I'll pick them up on my own.. just not for me
