Leaves skin filmy and dry. Love smell and great brand. Decently priced.

Ivory reminds me of my grandmother, she always had this soap in her bathroom. It smells great but dries out my skin.

the sent is what i love. It floats and never sinks. i will say you will want to grab some lotion after

I have used this soap since I was a kid. As I got older and ran my own household I tried different soaps but always had a problem with too much perfume, allergic reactions or dry irritated skin. I always wound up going back to Ivory. It is wonderful because there is nothing in it that could cause a problem but I feel like it leaves a film on my skin. That being said I would recommend it if you have sensitive skin as i do.

Though Ivory soap is a decent cleansing soap, it dried out my skin completely which made my skin cracked and flakey.

I must detract from all of the wonderful reviews. Ivory is a good cleansing soap. It is, however, one of the most drying soaps on the market. So, be prepared to lotion up after every use to make up for it. There are plenty of gentle and hydrating soaps on the market today.

I like soaps that leave my skin feeling really soft and clean. This is not one. It leaves my skin super dry and super tight. Every time I use it I feel like I have to take another shower.

This is an old timer. It is drying to the skin I think. I would not advise it to those with dry skin. They need to come out with a moisturizing soap.

I use the liquid version with aloe not this one. Altough ive treid it because it was cheaper. Regrettfully it sucked lol. It was rough and dragging. And it didnt smell anything like the liquid one. wouldnt buy again
