Love this book series it is amazing!!

one of my favorite book series to read

I thought this book was good, but I didn't love it as most of the other readers did. It was unique and creative. I liked the characters and the clever idea of it, but sometimes the pages didn't grip me and it took me a bit to get thru.

loved this series of books. i'm a huge fan of any books in a series and this was definitely one of my favorites.

Wonderful series. I loved it and so did my daughter. It was a great conversation starter. I think it made us closer by both reading it and being able to discuss and watch the movies together.

I wanted to get in the habit of reading. My friend borrowed these to me and I loved them! They are so good. I would recommend reading them before you see the movie because they have so much added information! Can't wait to see the 3rd movie.

Definitely a must read. I couldn't put the books down. It was definitely the quickest I'd ever read a series. I just wish it wouldn't end. It appeals so many different audiences with action and drama combined.

One of my favorite books of all time. I have read the trilogy and enjoyed every minute of it. When my son first began telling me about the "Hunger Games" book-I didn't really think I would like it even though he insisted I would. So, I decided to try it out and my son was definitely right!!

The first book I started reading and couldn't get into it so I never read it. Once I watched the movie I knew I wasn't going to be able to wait for the next movie so I got the second book and could not put it down! I finished it in two day and had to read the third!! Same thing, could put it down and finished it really fast. I didn't really like how the series ended but I loved these books and could read them again and again!!!

As usual, the first in the trilogy was amazing, the second one good and the third quite frankly sacked. It ended abruptly and didn't really explain what happened to them. They're traumatized and obviously have PTSD, and the author expects me to believe they're fine? They just had kids and moved on like it was nothing? No. I love that it has a strong female character who (in the book) might be mixed race, but it seems like maybe the author was on a deadline and didn't finish it like it should have been. Overall good series though.

I really loved this series. As a mom and an avid reader the Hunger Games series is a pretty quick to read series. It has a great story and the movies go along well with the books (so far, we will see about the third). I think that for teens and adults alike it is a good book. The story is well written and its not too childish or adult.. Mom with pre teens or teenagers could bond over the series and movies. I wish my daughter was old enough to read them!

I loved this series and the movies are also great. I am a middle school teacher and considering the age of the characters it was written for this age group. My one issue with this series is the violence. I do love the theme of the book, but it is violent...though, probably no more violent than the video games they play...that have no theme at all.
