This product is a great idea. I love the convenience and ease of use. Though the package says you can use for sweater, jeans, etc. I had especially looked forward to using it with tops that have sequins, beads, or other embellishments that are easily ruined when washed and HAVE to otherwise be hand washed or dry cleaned. My only problem with the product was that it didn't really clean dirty clothes. (Or maybe I just didn't spray enough product on the clothes? If that's the case, there should probably be a note on the package saying how much to spray, because I didn't see one. But again, I love the concept and will definitely continue to experiment with the product.

I think Dryel is great for "refreshing" my dry clean only clothing. I usually try to get a few wears out of a suit before taking it to the cleaners, and Dryel is great for those in between times. However, were soil or dirt, stains, etc a concern, I would go to the cleaners and skip the Dryel.

This is great to get things freshened up but it doesn't work as well as the dry cleaners. I have a wool coat I needed clean and didn't want to spend the money at the dry cleaners. I used Dryel on it and it was a lot fresher. It looks better than it did but not quite dry cleaner clean. This is good as a substitute when you can't afford dry cleaning or need something freshened up in a pinch.

I used the Dryel product to clean my husbands silk shirt and three scarves with silk in them. The shirt turned out smelling fresh, but was slightly wrinkled, considering it's clean on a fairly high heat in the dryer I expected it to turn out wrinkle free. If I had taken it to a dry cleaner it would have been, but I would have paid more! So, I guess it was worth a few wrinkles. My scarves turned out nicely, they were winter ones. None of these items were very soiled or smelled incredibly bad to begin with so it was really difficult to know for sure how well the Dryel worked. I'm not sure if it cleaned the items or just made them "smell" clean. I would like to try it again on something a bit dirtier, though I did spot that there is an additional item you can buy for "spots", which I do not have. I'm on the fence as to whether I would buy this. I usually end up taking most items to the dry cleaner, but i suppose for scarves and items that are not very soiled I would use this product.

I tried Dryel with a wool rug. Not sure if that was the right product to try it on, because it did not come out smelling fresh and clean at all. I guess I will have to try it on a piece of clothing instead!

I received the free sample of Dryel a few weeks ago but didn't have occasion to use it till just today. I used to to clean a delicate dry-clean only shirt with lace, a dry-clean only raincoat (I know, right?!) and a dry-clean only trenchcoat. The delicate top didn't have any stains or spots but after a few wears needed "refreshing". Both coats had spots and staining on them. I followed the instructions to spray any soiled areas. I placed all the items in the bag with the cleaning sheet and set the dryer on medium for 30 minutes as instructed. When the time was finished, I opened the dryer to find the lace shirt has escaped the bag as had the cleaning sheet. The zipper to the bag had opened a few inches allowing a couple items to fall out. Unfortunately, that meant the two coats didn't get cleaned because the cleaning sheet has escaped. I used my second cleaning sheet and treated the two coats again, as spots were still visible. I placed them back in the bag, made sure the zipper was very tightly closed, and set it for another cycle. This time, more of the spots and stains came out of the two coats. There are still some leftover stains but I don't expect the product to be perfect. In the future, I would use Dryel for last minute dry cleaning needs (such as a last minute event or if I didn't realize the clothes I planned on wearing that night had a stain or spot and there wasn't time to visit a dry cleaner).

This may seem to clean your clothes but they do not come out smelling as if they were laundered

The good, the bad, and the ugly truth. I love the idea of dry cleaning at home, saving me money and being much more convenient. It is also great for that last minute dressing need, when you never would have had time to get it dry cleaned. But the product left a smell I didn't care for on the clothing. I know that the scent of traditional dry cleaning isn't perfect, but it has never bothered me the way that this smell did.

NIce to have on hand, but I'm not sure its a cost or time saver vs traditional dry cleaning. Smell was pleasant.

This product helps cut down on your dry cleaning costs if you have items that really just need a refresh or light touch up. Does not work well on bedding or anything with a stain

I've used Dryel stuff before and loved it. There are no dry cleaners even near my house so this not only saved me time and money but also is better for the environment. Don't have to worry about any mishaps with the clothing either. I've done both of my husband's suits and they turned out great. We don't have a whole lot to dry clean so this is perfect for us to keep in our laundry arsenal.

I don't have many dry-clean only pieces of clothing, but I do own a few pairs of dark jeans. I decided to give the jeans a shot, and I was very impressed. I normally don't put my jeans in the dryer because it causes them to shrink, but after retrieving my pants, I noticed that they were soft, not stiff like they sometimes can be, and they fit the same as they always do. I also noticed that the color was richer and looked newer than when I had originally put them in the dryer. It was easy to use the Dryel product, and I liked the outcome. I'm not sure if I would purchase this, had I not received it for free to try, because I don't have much of a need for it. But, if the situation arose where I needed dry-cleaned quality clothes, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again.

I have a lot of clothes that are dry clean only and I hate how expensive they are to take to the dry cleaner. I tried this kit the same day that I received it and I was very impressed! My clothes came out smelling fresh and the kit was very easy to use! I had seem the dryel products in the store, but had never purchased them before, I will definitely be purchasing them again in the future. Great product!

I was anxious to try Dryel on sweaters. I used it on a heavy Alpaca sweater and 3 silk turtlenecks that usually get dry cleaned. The sweater came out great, soft, smelled fresh, felt clean. The 3 silk turtlenecks came out okay, they probably need a light pressing. That would be my only disappointment, they don't look like after dry-cleaning. I was concerned about drying all these items but they held up fine, no color issues or shinkage. I would definitely use again.

I admit I was a little apprehensive about trying this product, but I decided to try it on some older skirt suits that I had figuring they wouldn't be a huge loss. I was delighted with the results. The white areas on the skirt looked much brighter and, over all, the outfits looked clean and ready to wear. The smell was very pleasant, and I felt comfortable wearing one of my new clean skirt to work today. I haven't had an opportunity to try the spray cleaner yet, so that's why I only gave a four star rating. Hoping to change that in the next few days.
