ive been lucky and recived many free razors from there company thru there face book page and ive never been disapointed with the product great close shave and get sthe job done

I purchased this razor because I had a coupon for it. I have been a strict Gillette user for years, but now I have been trying to save money because of our 6 person household. Anyways, the razor performed amazingly. Shaved my bikini area with no problem and no irritation. Legs arms, everything. Iv reused it about three times. It is starting to dull now but still good enough for legs and arms. :)

If you don't use a five blade razor, you should. It gives the most intimate shave and it has NEVER nicked me. I firmly believe it's the best in shower razor you could own. So, you?re probably wondering what's the better five blade razor then. Is it the contemporary Hydro Silk or the girly Embrace? I received a Hydro Silk to try for free. As a daily user of the Embrace, I realized that it might be harder to decide than you think. Let's start with what they have in common. Five blades surrounded by a moisturizing strip and a contour handle. Not much more to a razor, right? Wrong. Let's get into the differences. Starting with the handle? The Hydro Silk boasts on it's gel comfort grip. Yes, it's got one, but how is it compared to the Embrace? It's not the same. The Embrace has a very gel-like and soft grip. The Hydro Silk has a more plasticy hardness to it. The Embrace wins on comfort to hold, but what about the design of it? The Embrace gets dirty and grungy easily, the Hydro Silk has a design that will stay much cleaner than the Embrace. So, Hydro Silk wins on that. What about the in-shower holder? The Embrace has a bulky container meant to hold two extra cartridges. The Hydro Silk's is a very small simple holder. I like the idea of having the extras in the shower when I need them, but that big case has a tendency to get to heavy for the suction cups and start to fall. The Hydro Silk case is so tiny, it won't go anywhere. So, should the Hydro Silk have a holding spot for an extra cartridge? Yes. Is the design better than the Embrace's case? Yes. So, this one is a toss up. Let's get to the actual blade of the thing. I LOVE that the entirety of the blade and moisture strips on the Hydro Silk were smaller than the Embrace. It makes it easier to get my underarms, knees, ankles, and my lady parts. I prefer the Embrace for my actual legs though. It's bigger and get the job done faster. I didnt notice any difference in the moisturizing strips between the two razors. So, what's better? I couldn't decide. Now that I own both, I plan to keep them side by side and use them for their separate areas when I shave.

Razor did an amazing job, one of the best I may add! One knick but didn't even notice! The only down side is it makes my skin extremely itchy afterwards!

This razor offers a very close shave. I recommend this brand if you have sensitive skin. The shave seems to last longer than shaving with any other brand (other than Venus. The two are very comparable.)

I received this razor free along with some 5 dollar off coupons and I love this razor! It's very hard for me to shave as is I was burned in a house fire as a child. So with 3rd degree burns you can understand being picky with razors! I was very impressed when on day 5 I still haven't had to shave!!!

Purchased this with a coupon ...it was a very smooth close shave on my legs and underarms...definitely would recommend

i love this for my underarms and legs but anywhere else i feel like it isnt as flexible because it it so bulky

I ended up getting this razor mostly because I couldn't find the refills of my old razor in any store. I didn't want to buy them online since I had read that my previous razor was incompatible with the newer versions. Anyway, I stopped in Target during a sale and had picked up this Schick Hydro Silk, which included a bonus blade and also picked up a box of refills since those were on sale too - These will last me a while. This blade gets really close and leaves my legs feeling nice and smooth. The best thing is that they are useable without needing any soap or shaving cream since they do have a little built in gel-like (Vitamin E?) dispenser - this is very useful when shaving in the shower. However, if you have sensitive skin it's probably recommended for you to use some kind of gel/soap when shaving. The only complaint that I do have is that this gel pack sometimes "releases" a large amount of the gel, which isn't a huge problem cause you're just going to wash the stuff off anyway... Also this blade doesn't get as close as waxing but I have yet to find a razor that does, if even possible. Either way this blade is pretty good, lasts a very very long time and I have not accidentally cut myself unlike other blades I have used before. I have owned this product for 3-4 months.

I like this razor. It does release too much gel and it does not give you a very close shave even with 5 blades but it does a good job. The refills are expensive.

Go a free sample of Schick recently I have always used Venus but the Schick worked great and I was very surprised.

Actually does what it promises. Gives me a moisturizing shave whether I use actual shaving cream or not. Give them a try!

Absolutely love this razor! No cuts and burns with this razor and it leaves your legs feeling moisturized and soft.

I actually just received a free sample of this not too long ago to try. I was impressed with the razor and felt it gave me a wonderful close shave. It didn't irritate my skin, and I do have sensitive skin. It lasted about a week before the gell stuff started sloughing off the ends, which was the only down side I felt because it would make my skin feel slimy. Other than that, it's a great razor!

Okay, I am a big Venus Embrace fan and have been using it loyally for years after experimenting with tons of razors. The Schick Hydro Silk in my opinion is almost as good as my Venus. The handle is great as it has such a nice grip without any slipping. The shave is a perfect, one stroke and nothing left but silky smooth skin. My legs are not dry and remain moisturized for hours after without any extra lotion. This works wonderful with Skintimate which is another plus as that is all I use.
