I have the biggest problem with the applicator. I can't get a good grip. Plus it opens side ways which I am definitely not a big fan of. The string is too long. Plus the braid soaks up pee, which means I have to change it every since time I use the bathroom. I drink a lot of coffee which means I pee a couple times an hour.

This is my favorite tampon. It's easy to use, it isn't painful and it does a very very good job keeping everything where it needs to be. This is always my #1 choice in tampons.

Let's be honest, no one wants to talk about tampons. Most of the time we don't want to think about tampons. Until we need one and realize there are none. The thing is, regardless of our 'want' it's a conversation, at least with ourselves, that cannot be avoided. There are pad people, tampon people, diva cup people, even mama cloth people. I am a tampon people. And I emphatically believe that not all tampons are created equal. I've tried different brands and different types. Cardboard applicator, plastic applicator, no applicator, store brand, name brand. But given a choice Tampax Pearl is my go to tampon. For me it is the most comfortable and the least likely to leak. I get them in bulk when I can just so I don't have to make that trip to the store every month. I also prefer to keep a couple in the car, at the office, my work bag...you get the idea. There is nothing worse than not having one when you need it!

This tampon is one of my favorites. I've never had any leaks with it and the applicator in really smooth which made insertion easy. The leak guard braid was amazing, no other tampon has that. The absorbency is really good and the tampons its self molds to your body when is inside you so it's super comfortable. The only problem I had was that it was a bit uncomfortable to remove no matter how full it was, but everyone is different. Overall I absolutely love this tampon, I especially like the the scented ones. The fresh scent smells so good and makes me feel cleaner when I'm on my period!

The applicator is great smooth and easy to use compared to other products but I do try to be earth friendly and try to avoid plastics simply for that reason. However I do seem to always have to wear backup protection with this. They always seem to leak for me.
