I have been consistently disappointed with ELF products. I believe the company has targeted such a low budget that they have sacraficed quality in every regard. This eye liner is difficult to apply and I cannot create a precise line with the applicator. It doesn't dry matte and after wearing it a few hours, it will flake. The ELF products are great for the price but when the quality is so poor, even a dollar is too much to spend.

This product was exactly what I paid for it. It flaked off and smudged. I am a big fan of really black liner. It was kind of watery and I was not a fan of the brush. There are a lot of cheap makeup products that work well even though they are cheap including much of elf products but this wasn't one of them. My eyeliner is important to me. It is a makeup up product that I have to have work well.

I'm not really sure how long the actual liner stays on or anything. All I know is that the brush-type applicator was totally useless. I tried using this product once and it was so hard to achieve just a single precise line, I gave up. This isn't good, even for the low price.

I kind had problems with this but would like to try something simlier

I don't particularly enjoy this eyeliner..I have used many different eyeliners and liquid eyeliners and have to say it just doesn't do it for me. It's very messy. I know how to put eyeliner on very well but the problem with this is that it runs a lot. And so it's very liquidy. When I apply to my bottom or closer the inside of my eye it runs and when it gets bin my eye, burns!! Never had one buen this much. I've heard lots of good reviews about there other products though but just haven't tried them yet.

No I don't know where to start on this. I loved the dark black color. But it smudges so easy. I guess thats what i get for not getting my usual brand.

Never been so disappointed by elf I usually love elf products mostly their brushes, but this eyeliner was just the worst it was useless didn't work at all smudged off in like one minute.

not worth it. so not impressed with this item. the felt tip wasn't sharp, it soaked up more product then ever and when applying it to the eye, it just came as one big hot glop and you might have to use a qtip to clean off the excess liner that was left behind. it wasn't fast drying so those with double eye lids will suffer the smudging effect. and sadly i don't feel that this is even water proof. it just started getting everywhere within 2 hours of wearing it. i was greatly disappointed with this. i am kinda glad that it wasn't expensive. i will not be buying this ever again.

its ok im used to pencil eyeliner so its a little messy and the colors aren't excatily how they look online

This stuff flakes. Dont' get me wrong, I love ELF and there are a lot of products that they make that are awesome but I think we need to be honest about their products that aren't great because they have so many good things you don't want to get a bad impression from one. Anyway yea one star for going on smooth (esp. the black) and it looks great at first but then after a day at work it looks like I have gaps on my eyelids bc a little chunk has flaked off. It looks so weird. The other star is because it was only $1 so even though I have 3 of them, they aren't a huge waste. There are so many better drugstore versions, I'd just get the revlon colorstay instead if you really wanted an affordable liquid liner.

I do like ELF cosmetic. But this eyeliner flakes off very easily. Also I've notice that when you put it on your eyes it's looks quite plastic. It's not like others where it looks very matte. I guess i should say. It's great for it's price but for the quality it could have been better.

For the same price I can go to my local dollar store and get a better mascara. I have the product because it came in an E.L.F kit but I wouldn't go out and purchase it on its own. I put it on and it tends to just fade, or flake off leaving my eye's without the amount of eyeliner I prefer by the end of the night. It's not the worse but certainly not the best.

This isnt one of my favorite products, it takes awhile to dry, and often smears :( It also doesnt wear well - flakes off after an hour or two.

I found this eyeliner difficult to apply. The consistency is very thin and seemed to take a long time to dry. It also rubbed off easily and did not stay put. I liked the color but there are much better products available.
