This is a well made piece of machinery, but I agree with the previous reviewer that it leaves unmixed ingredents on the bottom if you're not constantly scraping it down. The bowl that I have is not flat on the bottom and that is why it doesn't get everything mixed in.

Nice mixer, everyone should have one

This is a staple for any baker! I love mine, when I get an excuse to use it! It does a great job blending and mixing all the ingredients together. Only con for me is it is HEAVY! I unfortunately don't have room to keep it on my counter, so I have to store it in my cabinets and I always ask the hubby to get it out for me.

Its a very easy mixer once you learn it. I love making bread dough and cookie dough in it. Only complaint is. if the dough gets heavy the bowl starts rattling around, the bowl gets unlocked, and I have to stop and lock it again. At first I thought it was me, but it was the weight of the food! I also agree that not everything is mixed at the bottom of the bowl. These flaws make me turn back to the hand mixer sometimes. Overall, it works for the simple things and is a good go to.

I brought it but it was not a good tool for a small family. It seemed a little too big if you only want to cook a small portion size of cake. It was sure that was a very expensive product that would make you looked good and professional in your house. However, I decided to return it and spend the money on something better in a result.

I love the convenience of my mixer. I am a young 'senior citizen' with fairly severe arthritis, this mixer has helped me bake breads (no kneading), cookies, and with attachments noodles and sausage. Thanks for the renewed independence!

I must say, I'm not a fan of this mixer. While it is definitely industrial strength (and it does do almost everything it claims too- I'm not trying to take away that it's a nice machine), and holds up for eons, you have to have the counter space for it *ALL THE TIME*. I have a very small kitchen, so that's a major issue for me. I also find that I can do almost everything _I_ need with a very powerful hand mixer (and yes, that does require a little more effort, but it's worth it for the amount of space and money investment for me). I sold mine after a few years. Unless you are a major baker, make sausage, need the status of owning one, or have a lot of room, I'd honestly skip it. Sorry.

I absolutely love my kitchenaid mixer. I love how I can get add ons for grinding meat and making pasta. The biggest downside to me is how heavy and hard to store this thing is. I feel like a weight lifter lugging this thing out of my cabinet (I don't have much room in my kitchen to leave it out). I have never had a problem with it, and I intend to get the meat grinder and pasta maker soon so I can use my mixer in more ways. Absolutely great mixer, just heavy.

I have 2 Kitchenaid stand mixers and the 9 speed hand mixer. I just don't like the tilt head models.

I LOVE THIS MIXER IS SO beautiful i got it for my birthday use it every time i'm baking goodies

Bowl isn't wide enough, but its a good mixer otherwise

Works amazing for anything and everything with different attachments, very stylish but it takes up a lot of counter space.

I have the industrial size one of these and although it gets the job done I'm just not a fan. These mixers take up way too much space in a kitchen. Unless you have a huge kitchen and or plenty of free counter space it stinks. Mine sits in a closet. Not to mention its a hassle to clean.

I'm very pleased with the mixing job it does, but I don't feel like I use it enough to justify the price tag or the amount of space it takes up (not to mention the weight). For someone who bakes a lot, it's probably worth it. But if you'll be using it once a month like I do- save your money!

I don't personally own one, however I use the one at my Mother's house all the time. I find it useful for almost every recipe I can think of. I just wish they weren't so expensive, I would have one for myself.
