I received a free sample of Tampax Pearl from SheSpeaks and the following is my opinion. I found the product not easy to use. Couldn't get the right fit and I had some leakage. I will stick with the Reular tampons I use. Not too happy with this product.

Unfortunately the applicator was not good, (I think it was not long enough) and could not make it work even tough I tried several times. This is the brand that I use, so it was a boomer. The positive was that the package was small enough to fit in my purse.

Not worth it. I prefer using sanitary pads than tampons. But I do occasionally use tampons, so I decided to try this product. When I first received the tampons, the first thing I noticed was how beautiful the packaging was. I love how it's so colorful and pleasant to look at. I usually use Kotex tampons, so this was my first time trying a Tampax product. I liked how it was compact but other than that I found my experience to be quite disappointing. The applicator doesn't click into place well. It was quite a struggle to insert the tampon, which essentially wasted my time and energy. Therefore, I'll be sticking with Kotex tampons instead. I felt the applicator was flimsy but it was until the plunger slid right through the top and got stuck that I knew I would never use this product again. It took a very embarrassing trip to the ER to remove it.

So when I got my samples I was so excited to see a full size box and I usually LOVE the compact tampons. Tampax you have finally disappointed me. The applicators do not "click" easily to insert. when I'd finally get it to click in place go to insert, the bottom of the applicator would fall out of place again or not even push up the tampon. I wasted more tampons than I used. I'm so glad these were a free sample and I know now not to waste my money.

Applicator is unreliable These were horrible. The applicator was completely unreliable. I made the mistake of taking these along on vacation and had to make an extra run to go get more tampons, because only about 1 in 3 would work correctly. I will never purchase these. Which is sad, because I love the original tampax pearl and was looking forward to the travel size of these. Wishing for a better design and material After receiving a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and express my own opinions I always excited to test the New Pearl Tampon Tampax. The name itself made me think the material and design would be gentle and easy to use like a pearl. Although usually prefer pads I do use tampon for outdoor activities such as swim and hiking, I have made multiple attempts to use the new Pearl Tampon but had no luck with the applicator and the tampon itself splitting in half after using it. Although generally love the Tampax brand this is not my favorite product.

I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. As much as I like the concept of a small tampon, I didn't like this one. It was difficult to get the tampon out of the plastic while trying to use it and to keep the popout part of the handle to stay popped out.

Too many problems with design and function I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I found these tampons difficult to use. The applicator is the first challenge I encountered. It never really clicked into place and upon trying to make it click the tampon would come out of the topside. This was not convenient Because now you have to waste time placing the tampon back into the applicator in order to insert the tampon. I also found that the braided string part of the tampons that are supposed to prevent leaks only cause the leaks. The problem is all the mess from your period travels down the string instead of getting absorbed in the actual tampon. Basically the tampon ends up being completely dry and difficult to remove. Not a fan for the many reasons listed.

While they were super small and compact, the "turn to click" into place applicators were terrible. The new feature did not measure up to my standards. I would not purchase this product in its current state, but I am grateful for the chance to sample it. Tampax needs to go back to the drawing board for this one.
