Lancome is a trusted brand, and I was excited to try out a product that was meant to help even out my skin tone so dark spots were less visible. I noticed some improvement, but I was definitely hoping for more. Also, when I applied the product I was expecting a soft and gentle feel on my skin and instead dealt with slight stinging. The slight change is nice, but I don't think I would pay the $98 price tag for something that didn't provide more dramatic results for my skin.

I liked this product overall but I don't feel that DreamTone is a 'Must Have'. I love the packaging, absolutely beautiful! It dispensed easily and glided on my skin. The scent was pleasant and didn't last long unlike some other products like it. I used it twice a day and it evened my skin tone a bit but the results weren't drastic. That said, I still continue to use DreamTone because I feel that it makes my skin feel better and I'm hoping that with continued use, my skin tone will become even more even . I'd recommend this product if you were able to find it on sale but I wouldn't suggest running out and buying it now.

I saw this product and had to try it so at Dillards Dept store the lady was nice enough to give me 2 samples which was not enough to see results so after stretching that lol I splurged at bought the 1.3FL. oz bottle. Today is my 3 week using the Lancome Dreamtone and though it feels great on my skin and gives me a nice look without much make-up I am still waiting to see drastic results with some age and acne spots. I hope this does not let me down I just want a good product that I can afford and that will do what it says. I cant afford to try everything but I can invest in something worthwhile. I will def let you know after I have used the whole bottle maybe 4 - 6 weeks more.

I like Lancome products.

I honestly couldn't use the product. The perfume smell was way too overpowering. I don't know why a face product would have so much perfume in it.

Used it twice a day every day and I have NO noticeable difference in my skin. I do feel it's a bit drying. It does smell good, but mine did not dispense well. I would not pay a lot of $ for this.

This just didn't work for my skin (which is a bit sensitive and finicky I admit). It was a nice bottle, and I loved that you could close it for travel. The scent was simple, and the feel was great as well, but it just didn't do any of the promised things such as evening out my skin tone. I would recommend you try before you buy to see if it's for you.

This felt good going on and I like how it made my skin feel. But I didn't notice any difference in my skin. At $98 a bottle, I would rather buy something that has active ingredients that will actually work on fine lines and dark spots.

I received this free to try from SheSpeaks. The color of the bottle is pink and shape is nice. It can be closed by twisting the bottle and it retracts back so it would be good for traveling. This is available in 3 colors and I got the dark. I do not think this is really a dark color but more on the medium side. I generally do not have any breakouts on my face but after using this product they have appeared. I found it also to be drying to the skin as well. Instead of spots disappearing, I have some that are coming up. The Lancome DreamTone cost $98 per bottle. It is highly overpriced and does not work well. I cannot see why anyone would pay this much for something that does not work well. Instead of it clearing up spots and producing an even skin tone, it makes me break out and have spots appear. I don't need to pay this much for a bottle to do this. I am glad I was able to try it first before actually having to buy it. Thank you SheSpeaks.

I've been using this, morning and night for around 4 weeks now. I received this product from SheSpeaks and Lancome and had high hopes. I have lots of redness in my face that I normally even out with makeup. I also have freckles, dark eye circles and a small mole. I'm still unclear us to what this product was supposed to do seeing as how it came with no info or even instructions. I'm not completely dense though, I could figure out not to squirt it in my eyes. My redness even out slightly. My freckles and dark eyes seemed to have slightly lightened up and the mole is the same. My skin feels softer and I had no issues with it causing any kind of irritation or blemishes. Overall I liked the product BUT I can't say that it was worth 98 dollars. I might spend upwards of 20 for the results I got but for 98 dollars I guess I was expecting a lot more.

While I'm sure this product may work great for some, it's just not the one for me. The scent is ridiculously overwhelming, making my husband ask me if I borrowed my grandmothers creme... it is an overpowering rose type scent. It promises brighter looking skin and a decrease of dark spots, but on my skin, there were no results like this. Instead I was left with more breakouts and no difference whatsoever in my pigmentation. The bottle is nice as far as packaging, but I wish there was a way to see how much is left in the bottle. All in all, it's not a product I'd recommend to friends with a similar skin tone (fair with freckles). Hopefully you have better results than I did.

I've used this for the past few weeks and noticed some improvement in my skin however not as much as I'd hoped. It has not evened my skin tone or have an effect on my dark spots liked I'd hoped. While it did improve the feel of my skin and the way it looks it didn't do what I was expecting it to do. It is also very, very pungent. The fragrance is nice but not for something that goes on your face and that close to your nose. It tends to become a little overpowering after a while. I thought I would get used to the smell however I never did. It's not what I expected and would not necessarily recommend it for evening skin tones or dark spot however it does have some effect on the skins texture and suppleness.

I might have been one of the few who didn't love Lancome DreamTone. I used DreamTone for 3 weeks hoping that it would lessen a bit of discoloration in my skin. After baby #2, I had more darks spots than I'd like on my face. But unfortunately it broke out my skin. I used Lancome Dreamtone twice daily. But, still my skin kept breaking out in large, painful pustules. {Not cool at my age.} I quit using it by the 3rd week. I may have noticed a small amount of help in discoloration from my first selfie and today, but not sure it is worth the steep price of the bottle and the breakouts. I also didn't like the pump of the Dreamtone products. It didn't dispense cleanly into my hand. It often got down in the grooves of the top. It leaves a bit of product on the nice shiny top and it is hard to get all cleaned out. I gave this product 2 stars simply because there is definitely more than a month's worth of product in this attractive bottle. So for people who this product works, which obviously there were many, it is a good amount that goes a long way.

I was not a fan of this product. I was super excited to receive it and began using it that evening. The packaging is awesome and I would love it if this bottle was reusable! However, it did nothing to improve my super fair skin. It often burned when I applied it (I also use retin a every third night and argan oil to moisturize) and I found that applying foundation soon after (30 mins) Dream Tone resulted in my makeup looking HORRIBLE! It caused the foundation to streak, clump up and look awful. Since stopping Dream Tone, this also stopped. I used it consistently for 4 weeks; I stopped due to the burning and how awful it looked under foundation.

To quote reviewer "WVUAsh" above me, "I found that applying foundation soon after (30 mins) Dream Tone resulted in my makeup looking HORRIBLE! It caused the foundation to streak, clump up and look awful." I couldn't agree with this user more! I had similar results after applying my Clinique foundation. At $98/bottle, I had really, really high expectations for this product. However, I do not see a difference after using this product consistently for 4 weeks. Since everyone's experience is unique to them, I can't say whether or not I would recommend this product. The price point does leave it pretty much unaffordable to the most ladies I know. I will give props to the packaging. I like the pop-up design of the bottle. It made the product easily portable, and I didn't have to worry about a rogue lid floating around my bathroom.
