This was my favorite series!! I loved the characters and everything about it. I loved that I could share this with my daughters, sister in law, and friends. Everyone loved it!! We are all going to go watch the movies together. Can't wait!! I hope they live up to the books!!

I'm not usually one to read books that have futuristic tones and death but I have read all three books in this series not once, but twice. I love them and get lost in the whole book. I was expecting a little different ending but still thoroughly enjoyed the book. I felt all the pain and love that Katniss and the others experienced. I have spoken about the books to my friends and gotten them hooked as well. I am so excited regarding the movie and can't wait for it to come out.

I absolutely loved this book. I couldn't put it down and couldn't wait to pick up the next one! My significant other, who never reads anything, finished this in less than two days. It's exciting, full of adventure and just leaves you craving more and needing to find out what happens with characters that you can't help but love!

A friend let me borrow this series last year and I couldn't put them down. The story was really enthralling and I finished them in a weekend. I recently found the first book at the thrift store for a quarter and picked it up. My 11 yo daughter read it and we ordered the other two, she's almost halfway through the 3rd book and hasn't been able to put them down either, we're both excited to see the movie even though it looks totally different from how we each imagined it!

I loved these books. My daughter read them first and then I read them..they pull you in from the beginning. I am looking forward to the movies and as to how they will depict all the violence that takes place in the games.

This series was one of my favorite reads in a long time. I was absolutely captivated - read all three in one weekend. Collins keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way until the cliff hanger of an ending. Once you finish the series you are craving more of your new favorite characters. This is a must read for any book lover.

GREAT book. Not just for young aduls. This was a page turner and I can not wait for the movie.

This book had me from the first page, but it is very brutal. I can't even imagine what the movie is going to be like. If you liked this series, you might also like The Maze Runner by J. Dashner.

Loved all 3 of them. Quick read.

The first of the trilogy and a great book. I read all three books and now that they're making it into a movie I cant wait to see how they portray katniss and peeta and the rest of the characters. I think the book is a great read because its unlike any of the other books we read. Its tiring to hear about the whole Vampire Craze like Twilight. This is a fresh futuristic and adventurous book. There is suspense and sadness and a combination of feelings when you read all of the books in the Hunger games trilogy.

Really liked this book. Not quite as good as the Dragon Tattoo books but very captivating. Can't wait to see how the movie portrays it!

I would give the first book 5 stars for sure - and probably the second one too...the third one isn't quite as good, but still worth reading. Exciting, unique, good characters - it is super hard to put down!

WOW! All three of them!

I was talked into these books by a friend, I thought that the overall subject was going to be too disturbing. I LOVED them, I read all three in about 6 days and I have thought of them often since. They do get much darker as the story goes on, but overall, I thought they were worth the read.

I loved these books for so many reasons. First of all, who couldn't feel with Katniss and her dilemma between two men who are crazy about her?! I love a good romance. And the war was gory, yes, but war is supposed to be; I think Collins wrote those scenes flawlessly. As entertaining and riveting as this series was, I enjoyed it all the more because it's interesting to think the "What ifs" of the uprising and war.
