Tampax pocket pearl So the pro to this tampon is that it is small enough to be more discreet but the con to this is that the applicator was a little difficult. I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I have been using Tampax Pearl (regular and pocket sized) for years now. I loved them and was very loyal. But the new Tampax Pocket Pearl doesn't perform as well as I like. It is itself a step down, in my opinion, from the previous versions. I truly miss the old applicator. The new applicator is now in three parts: one part houses the tampons and the other two parts make up the inserter. Sometimes when I try to insert it, it "un-clicks" out of position and the tampon doesn't fully eject, or would not be inserted fully and leaving me feeling very uncomfortable. I am very disappointed and won't be purchasing this product.

They are so tiny and discreet and easy to carry around. I love the Tampax name since it I have been using and trusting their products for years. The downside of the Tampax Pocket Pearl was in the application. I was not obvious to know when it has been inserted properly and I have a little bit more difficult time as opposed to the longer tampon applicators. However, once I got it in and positioned, it worked as it should. Bottom line, great little package, but takes a little getting used to the application if you are used to the longer applicators.

When it's extended, and "locked" into place, it's fine. However, I had noticed during insertion, the lock would snap, collapsing in on itself, and the tampon itself wasn't always necessarily in. This caused me to have to replace more often. I did like the wrapper, and the easy tear at the top. The size is ideal for small purses and clutches.

The packaging is super cute and the size is wonderful. The applicator is a little short which can make it difficult to tell if the tampon is where it should be. Overall, they are okay, will I buy them? Maybe, if they are on sale or if I have a coupon.

These were...ok. I liked these tampons, but I did NOT like the applicator. I ha issues with the applicators not clicking into place and that was just generally annoying. The tampons themselves were fine. I didn't notice any more leak protection than my regular Tampax tampons though. I received a free sample in exchange for my honest review.

The "pearl" coating is nice and smooth. The applicator itself is frustrating. The first time I used it, it unlocked itself and I basically wasted an entire tampon and had to throw it away. It was messy and gross. I think these would be okay to have as a back up for putting in your purse just in case. I don't think I would want to use these on a daily basis.

They were not the most comfortable tampons I have ever used. The applicator made them a little hard to place and it often felt like I could feel them. I typically use tampons without an applicator, so I may not have been positioning them correctly.

Compact size, easy to use, but still have leaks. I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I liked the packaging quite a bit. They were easy to open on the tear line shown. The small size made it easy to conceal in a purse or pocket. I don't usually like the "pop-up" applicators since they don't always work right and I end up having to throw it away and get another one out or put it back together again. These tampons worked very well in that regard for insertion. I was interested in the no leak braid back-up, but unfortunately they did still leak, but I always use liners for back-up with tampons so I'm used to that. I did like the small size and colors so I might buy these again since they are about the same as other Tampax tampons I use.

Great Concept The Tampax Pearl Tampons are a wonderful little surprise. They worked great and they come in discreet packages. They are small and fit in your pocket nicely. However, if you don't insert them just right it seemed to get stuck inside the packaging and could potentially be messy- that was the only issue I had otherwise I think they are a great idea! Don't like new applicator I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I really had a hard time with this new Tampax. Applicator doesn't push the tampon far enough to stay in place. I heard click all the time but its still not work. Maybe 50% of all box working. I like cute packaging , small enough to put in purse, packet. But I will not buy it:(
