This product is absolutely terrible! I used it once, and it completely RUINED my face! It caused a MAJOR breakout, and made my skin feel absolutely awful. It was not worth the price.

I used this for quite a long time when I was a younger just because my friend used it. However, as I became older and more aware of what worked for me and how it was supposed to work, I realized that this scrub wasn't doing anything for me. The pieces were too abrasive to put on my facial skin without damaging it, and the areas I washed always seemed to break-out soon after. I like many St. Ives products, but this is one I won't use again.

My teenage self's go to is not my cup of tea now Like many reviewers I used this scrub when I was a teenager who had oily acne prone skin that I did not understand at all. I thought that it worked wonderfully and it gave a really good scrub that my oily skin needed. I had no idea that the harshness of the product was horrible for the skin. Although this will hold many memories for me I have found other scrubs that are very effective and less harsh.

I've used this product a few different times and found that my face seemed less than clean almost oily after like a residue was left. I was not happy. The promise if blemish control is less then correct due to it is leaving an oily texture.

I've used this scrub for years on my acne-prone skin thinking it was doing some good. Little did I know that the crushed walnut pieces in this scrub are actually way to harsh and jagged to use on facial skin and can cause microtears leading to more breakouts and sensitivity. St. Ive's Scrub-Free Exfoliation pads are a much better and gentle alternative and have saved my skin. While you may not see the damage immediately, in a few year's time you will. I have some lovely broken capillaries on my nose as a reminder to never use this scrub again. Save your skin and try the exfoliating pads instead!

I tried this hoping that this would be a nice scrub. But after the first time I found that my face was all red and blotchy. I didn't care for this.

This doesn't seem to do anything except cause my face to break out. The "theory" behind it is good but it doesn't deliver. I didn't notice any difference when I used it. It just irritated my face. As another reviewer said, it seemed to work when I was younger. I wonder if they changed the formula. Don't waste your money.

So i must admit, I did not give this wash much of a chance however, there is a reason for that. I began to use this every other day before bedtime to just help with some exfoliating and what i noticed after the first day were a few small blemishes, i thought nothing of it until i used it two more times. Needless to say by the end of the week I was more broken out than ever! This product has great ratings overall but for me it just did nothing but make my skin worse.

I've been using this product for a long time but it never really helped my acne or my blemishes . This is not the product for blemishes.

This product is very rough. I gave it 2 stars because it exfoliate dead skin, but I don't think it did much more than that.

I love the idea of this product and have used time and time again to give it second changes. Each time I used it I got major breakouts. IT's a no no for me.

Honestly felt like I was ripping my skin to shreds. I used this when I was younger too and so I used to think thats how scrubs were supposed to be. However, clearly thats not true. I have moved on to much better and gentler things. Only thing I will say is it's great for a back and chest exfoliator after you work out so you wont break out there!

I love the scent and consistency and how my skin felt after using it. But then I got a bad bad breakout and a rash. Guess I have sensitive skin

Nice refreshing feel. It does help help exfoliate your dead skin away, but the product also tends to leave skin feeling raw.

This is a great product if you want smooth skin. It does not heal acne and if you use it too much, it can cause irritation to the skin.
