Worst tampons ever.

Go back! I love these tampons! However, the last 3 boxes I've purchased I've been having difficulty with inserting and comfort as well. I believe it's the NEWdark blue plastic that I've not been to happy with. Don't know what they've tried to improve but go back to the light blue cuz I've been using them for the past 20 years!

I love tampax products and they are the only brand I use but I can't get past the fact that these have a plastic applicator that sits in a landfill. There is nothing wrong with the cardboard applicator, in fact I wish they would bring back the comfort line they use to have where the thin cardboard applicator was the same exact shape as the plastic one. I recommend tampax but only with the cardboard applicator.

I have tried many different brands of tampons, and I honestly don't understand the hype. They are absorbent and easy to insert and remove, but I will never use another Tampax tampon ever because they're so UNCOMFORTABLE. I don't know if it's because I have an odd-shaped v...you know what I mean, but I can actually feel it when it's inside. I also think it might be due to the shape of the tampon, since it's rectangular, unlike other tampons (like Kotex or Playtex) which expand like a skirt. I do love the packaging though and the material of the pouch that the tampon comes in, but that's it.

Not too in love with them. They're kinda fuzzy and "don't feel right"I prefer U by Kotex as a better alternative to this.

I have the biggest problem with the applicator. I can't get a good grip. Plus it opens side ways which I am definitely not a big fan of. The string is too long. Plus the braid soaks up pee, which means I have to change it every since time I use the bathroom. I drink a lot of coffee which means I pee a couple times an hour.

In the past I used the Tampax with the cardboard applicator. I liked that it was earth friendly. Having not been able to find the traditional style, I tried the Tampax Pearl. I get the same comfort but still would like a biodegradable product. Can we come up with a way to save the earth and be healthy?

I used the tampax pearl for a long time, but the I discovered that Platex Sport is so much better for my active lifestyle. I seem to have a problem with the shape tampax expands to and the way they fit because they release much easier than the playtex. Sorry I think there is definately some competition now!

The tampax product is great, but I do not like the plastic applicators on the pearl. They are not biodegradable and I don't feel that it is necessary to have the plastic instead of the cardboard since it is so bad for our planet. I am not a "tree hugger" type of person, but I do try to reduce waste by recycling and even if the plastic is recyclable, who really is going to recycle it?

I use nothing but kotex and tampax :)

good product. used these in high school! lol

first one I pulled out of the box and tried inserting HURT!The applicator was messed up.The tip where the tampon comes out was sharp the little pointed pieces of plastic where sticking straight up.Instead of the points touching each other..the second one I pulled out of the box was fine.No leakage.Nice wrappers easy to open.

This is one of the best tampons I have used, but everytime I use it I end up with a UTI after. I used a different type and the UTIs stopped. I don't think it is at any fault of the tampon, but I can't bring myself to put in more than 3 stars.

alright but too much trash to carry around.

These tampons are good but are not as good for me as the tampax sport are. These last for a solid 4 hours but then I know I need to change it.
